It has been nigh on a dead certainty that folk would be charged ever since this circus started nearly 2 years ago, so why has the analyst at HL suddenly taken it into his/her head to start banging on about it and possible impact on winning new business. We all know substantial contracts have been won despite the circumstances and as for a "mass exodus of staff that is mere wild speculation that can only do further damage.

As I've said before, the British establishment setting themselves up as keepers of the World's morals, which, bearing in mind our,shall we say, chequered history of global commercial dealings, borders on large scale hypocrisy.

Do you mean the impact on the company's overall operating scenario? If so I think you are wrong. I think Petro will never recover from this meddling by self righteous Civil Servants. It's reputation has been tarnished and substantial new contracts are conspicuous by their absence to the extent that I think the figures due out on 28th Feb will not make for good reading.
On the plus side borrowing has been reduced substantially but they still have to pay any fine the aforesaid meddlers
and their chums in the judiciary dream up so that may well be negated.

The SFO does not provide updates and PFC themselves said some time ago that they would not be making any further comment. Bear in mind the RR investigation took 4 years and this investigation has been on the go for less than 2.
As I've said before they are Civil Servants with a vested interest in stringing it out despite the avowed intention of the new CEO to "speed things up". She is from the US and probably not too familiar with the "Sir Humphrey" antics of the UK Civil Service!!
