This is a very well run company with a great future and if the management are considering their proposed offer it must be a decent one . They have only just recently sealed the deal with Carlsberg which was a fabulous deal , if the price wasn’t substantial they would have just dismissed it. I feel their statement was to let the world know they might be interested in selling at the right price, this has only just started and should be an interesting few weeks .

We show have received the 160 million so it’s going to be very exciting to find out what they are going to do with it ?
Hopefully a big fat special dividend?????

This company are really getting their act together I am convinced with such a low valuation once it reports a more stable financial picture the share price has the potential to hit £1 plus .

I bought in to Up Global when due to various issues it’s shares were battered down to 30p , like Carclo it was a sound company with great contracts and 12 months later they are well above £1.
Sadly I sold out way too early but I am not going to make the same mistake again !!!!

When you look at the billions of COVID tests that are being carried out throughout the world even if Carclo are making parts for a small number of them the business must be staggering.

For a company with a 100 million turnover the impact on this will be dramatic over the next 6 months .

I have picked up some of these today in the hope of a special dividend, anybody any ideas of what they might payout ?

The new guy will be dipping his toe it will be interesting to see how many he buys !!!!!!!

Well I am surprised to at 20p before the update but very pleased .

Looking forward to see what has got the Directors so positive!

Tomorrow I am going to follow him and buy a few more , just wish I had bought more at 12p !!!!!!

I bore all my friends constantly banging on about Mr Buffet’s advice of buy when everyone is fearful, I just wish I’d follow the advice myself. It is difficult thought when a share is falling to buy in and much easier following a Director. What does he know !!!!!!

Bring on the trading update , we are going to need a considerable amount of COVID tests before the end of the year .
Nice to see the share price is starting to stabilise at about 15p , hopefully the update should push it pass 20p.

Production for the new customer must have started and looking at the present dreadful situation they are going to have to ramp it up as demand is very strong . I read yesterday that we are paying millions to fly COVID tests in from China to cope with the situation, it would be much cheaper to produce them in Yorkshire !!!!

Complex = High profit margin !

Looking forward to a positive trading update in January, finally this company is gaining some momentum and following Mr Buffets 10/10/10 theory I am very happy to hold this share for the next 10 years .

You are a prolific poster Torreagues , you don’t fancy coming over to the Carclo board and giving it a boost , the shares are stinking cheap and you would end up making a small fortune.

Could not agree with you more , after tonight’s announcement this dreadful virus is going to need billions more money before it is defeated .

I was wondering if anyone on this board had any knowledge of who is producing these tests for Novacyt., any help would be appreciated. My main shareholding is in a plastic moulding company called Carclo whose share price is floundering at a miserable 12p giving it a poultry valuation of £9m . They have started producing parts for COVID tests but I wanted to try and get some idea of potential revenue.

This dreadful virus is going to take months maybe years to defeat. The production lines Carclo have in place to make parts for these lateral flow tests have taken time to set up but could be needed for a very long time .

We are going to have to be very patient here . If you look back at Carclo’s history the company has had a chequered past with a number of recent failures. Investors will be very nervous about this company compounded with the fear of the pension deficit. The positive is that it gives investors such as myself who believe in this company the chance to increase their position at what is a very cheap price. At the beginning of January they will be starting to produce the parts for the COVID tests which has the potential to increase their revenue considerably, remember they stated two substantial contracts with the hope of more to follow.
At the end of the first quarter things will be looking very different, following a positive trading update in January I am confident the share price will be plus 20p.

Another positive day , happy with 4% , onwards and upwards to the January update.

Not quite the rise I was hoping for but a decent 3% gain , watching the news tonight this dreadful virus is seriously out of control, we are going to need many million COVID tests before we stand any chance of defeating it.
