Every clothing retailer is reporting surging sales I wish they would hurry up and bring out a trading report!!!!!

The trading update when it comes should be very strong, our clothing sales at the moment are the best in 20 years especially on Ladies clothing. I have been checking availability on FC website both in the UK and the USA , they have sold out on multiple lines, this is all at full price.
Increased sales at full margin with a much lower cost base could have the potential to increase profits considerably, just might be in our interest to hang on to the business instead of selling it . Sales of 100 million could value the business at a lot more than 20 million!!!!!!

To be fair in this climate it would be a staggering surprise if they haven’t done well , so these are the results to buy for .

Based on previous years results should be out next Tuesday the 8th June so should be a lot of action Monday .
Hopefully we will get a clear picture of the progress and the future potential.

Looking forward to a blowout trading update for the first 6 months .I have noticed their clothes are on sale on multiple websites, next , ASOS to name two plus their own site and stores.
With a valuation of £20 million it should help boost the share price!

Sosander is valued at £45 million with a turnover of £12 million!!

What does that make French Connection worth ?

Now we know why Mike sold his shares in FC , he needed the money to buy HB !!!!!!!

What amazes me is at 2.5 billion for Hugo Boss , £50 million for French Connection seems small change .

Not sure we should be looking to sell , their new ranges are selling extremely well with rave reviews.

Could be in for a long wait , one interesting point is that the share price appears to hold firmly around 20/21p even with continuing small sells .
Marks will no doubt wait to see how fast and how well things start to recover as it will impact the potential take out price . Very positive to see no one’s dropped out of the race yet .

While Superdry and Ted Baker gain new highs FC continues to crawl lower one can get quite frustrated with the share price!!!!!

Not bad results announcement considering the last year , sales starting to get back on track.

Key point for me is they are still in discussions with multiple parties, business recovering slowly so definitely no fire sale , in other words if they want it they are going to have to pay a decent price.Share price could be under pressure today but I’m happy to see what happens.

Need some luck as I sold out of Carclo yesterday as the price dipped in the morning and missed out on a 12% rise by the end of the day , 20% turnaround!!!!!!!

This is pulling back , I am out as I’m taking a big punt on French Connection.

GLA it’s been a great ride over the last 9 months .

Solid results but to be honest expected more , not setting the world on fire .
Presumed that we would have smashed last years sales .
Sitting on a large profit might have to take some this morning, see how the share price reacts.

Should be an interesting day today , if there is a takeover on the cards we should see some action !

If not then we will just have to hope trading is positive , this company is valued at £19 million which shouldn’t take much to justify a jump in the share price.

I have decided to take some profit in Carclo and put it to work in FC.

All the major shareholders have held steady, no one has been dumping stock which makes you think that a positive outcome is on the horizon.
Not long now 5 more shopping days till Christmas!!!!

With or without a takeover we should see a reasonable 20% rise in the share price with a positive sales update !

Can’t wait for the results update, clothing sales are surging , French Connection shops have been very busy . Share prices of DFS and Ted Baker are well up today which bodes well for a bounce !

I can assure you that I am not dreaming Toxicfrog , I was buying Carclo at 12p when everyone as selling and look at it now !!
Personally I thing NGK clothing will buy them out but that is just my opinion , they are a very slick operation and under their guidance could make a lot of money out of FC.
