Lombard have built up a sizeable stake to ensure this cannot be picked up on the cheap after all the hard work has been done . While there are no guarantees the potential is huge , if it was me I would be taking my time with any commercial agreement, there is no rush , who knows the agreement for the US could end up being with Pfizer !!!!!!

We have a clear pathway to commercialisation after many years of development , no immediate cash requirement, and steadily putting the agreements in place for launch . This is potentially a billion pound product in the making !!!!!

Big concerns with this company is the potential disruption, no announcement reassuring us their operations in China are not affected!!!!!

Looks like the price has now stabilised after all that selling , we should at some point get an announcement on holdings to see who has been buying up all those shares.
With Axel holding 27% of the company their next announcement should be a takeover offer at what price , who knows ?

Axel spent £50 million buying 14% of the shares from the founders , it has invested a considerable amount of money in this business .
It will be looking to take it over to recoup its investment, don’t forget PB have invested millions in the technology of the company.

On Friday there was £2 million shares sold and the share price didn’t move an inch , someone is gathering shares ?

Just be patient and it will be a very merry Christmas, hopefully it will be more of a reward than French Connection .
I was convinced it would be taken over north of 50p , but it went for 30p, but a profit is a profit .

Picked up a chunk yesterday, there is a good chance this will be taken private at these levels , why wouldn’t you with £60 million in cash !!!!!

Picked up a few of these today as we should be due an update on business, with cases rising we need more testing and Genedrive efficient system will be a big asset to keeping people safe .

Once it moves to the main market next year it will trigger huge purchases from all the funds , this is a billion pound company at the start of its journey probably ending with a buyout by a big player .

In May of this year Stromberg CEO said it is time to start looking at acquisitions, so Boo is probably their first major target .
Why wouldn’t you , it’s cheap at the moment and printing money !!!!!

No doubt they will quietly build their stake up .

I’m in today, they are very good at spotting a cheap target , would not be surprised if this is wrapped up before Christmas !!!

Bought a few of these today as I feel this will get taken over , great company but needs a new owner for its next stage .

£5 billion take out price !!!!

I have just purchased my first chunk of shares with the profits from my French connection shares , seems like a good bet with the present state of the energy market .

The reason for the drift in share price I feel is the disruption in raw materials that the world is experiencing , unfortunately Carclo will not be immune to these problems .
Results in November will be affected short term but the long term story is still strong, best just to sit tight and ride it out.

The way I read it is Apinder and his consortium have made some tentative approaches to FC at 30p a share to see how desperate they are , they , not happy with the low offer and without their permission have announced their derisory offer to the world in the hope to get some real interest from a world class player . The consortium to be fair while wealthy players are in my opinion a bit out of their depth , we need someone to buy this who is used to the worlds stage . The papers keep describing FC as a struggling, faded brand which is very unfair. They have a very loyal following and sell all round the world .
Carolyn Glynos was interviewed recently and absolutely raved about the company, stating after a very difficult year , they are slated to have the best year in a decade this year.New footwear and childrenswear ranges are due to be released next year , licensing with DFS who have had the best year ever .

Hopefully we might get a snippet in the Sunday papers with a heads up on other interest, this could set the scene for a bidding war next week , I would imagine it is beneficial to both sides to get this wrapped up before the results update on the 12th.£30 million is considerably cheap for such an international brand .

The announcement yesterday without the consortium’s permission was designed with one thing in mind , to flush out other bids . However I am convinced they are serious and probably connected to Mike Ashley in some way . This is only the beginning, if Marks wasn’t looking to sell he would of just ignored it and made some sort of announcement at the results on the 12th. Yes there was share price movement but not excessive.
