I am not sure what the problem is. The company has no borrowing, a regular income with a good credit line. Their new onshore prospects in KON 15 and 19 will presumably take some years to come to fruition but would expect the strength of the balance sheet to allow some deals with more immediate returns. Expect announcements over the next 6 months.

Small investors only bought 194,800 shares on Primary Bid. Results for H1 will appear worse than the updates because the updates talk about bookings, some of which are over 3 years, not turnover. If Q3 is also going to be poor wait until some new orders are signed in Q4.

The FCA is investigating the circumstances surrounding and arising from the potentially fraudulent irregularities announced on 9 March 2023 (the "Irregularities"). The FCA is investigating whether certain regulatory announcements released by the Company during the period 1 May 2021 to 9 March 2023 may have materially mis-stated the Company's financial position.

......the management team is aware that one existing minority shareholder (which the Company believes owns less than 2% of the Company's issued share capital) has again raised concerns related to the Irregularities and such shareholders' investment into the Company prior to that date. The same shareholder raised the same issue at the time of the Company's fundraise in July 2023. However, there has not been and there is currently no civil litigation or pending action in relation to this shareholder's expressed concern. The Company continues to engage constructively with that shareholder.

Presumably the minority shareholder is waiting for the results of the FCA investigation into the irregularities before considering whether or not to launch a civil action against the company.

If profit, based on latest trading update, is £30m then annual dividend based on planned 1.8 times cover, should be about 15p - 11p as a final dividend up from 7.5p last year (total dividend last year was 11.5p). Would be good to have a further share buyback rather than another special dividend.

Now 72p paid - But may just be because no -one is selling before the trial. Having held on this long why would you?

If a settlement is reached in working hours wouldn't there have to be an immediate suspension of trading in the share otherwise it would leak. The weekend would be a good time for the lawyers to earn some overtime whilst the market is closed. What's another few tens of thousands when a settlement either way is in millions?

The civil service will want to have as few issues for a new government to sort out as possible. Not sure the current government is very popular with civil servants so may not mind too much if a settlement is harmful to them.

Those are Australian Dollars so Macro's Market cap is about £60m still much higher than Alien's with not nearly as much to show for it!

2.7p gives a market cap of £175m compared to today's value of £14m. the question is why does the market only value alien at only £14m? han**** alone should be worth £100m + add in brockman, elizabeth hill and munni munni plus the aud4m (£2m) value to alien of the latest lithium prospect. what was the market cap when share price hit 3p

wh ireland says (1st may): "we still see fair value at 2.7p/share as alien moves han**** along its development pathway. " whilst accepting that alien pay wh ireland, an analyst giving a value over 10 times the current price is surely exceptional.
