The $1.7m was a prepayment so wouldn't show in the bottom line until actually invoiced. As it has now been "retired" AKA repaid then the only change as I understand it is that Cirata has $1.7m less in the bank. How much they expect to earn from the link with IBM is not made clear in the RNS which may explain the share price drop

15.5p dividend and a share buy back as I hoped would happen in July: “If profit, based on latest trading update, is £30m then annual dividend based on planned 1.8 times cover, should be about 15p - 11p as a final dividend up from 7.5p last year (total dividend last year was 11.5p). Would be good to have a further share buyback rather than another special dividend.“

What about these investors who are about £14m down - they will want compensation from someone!:

Lots of trades today -947 by 1.15pm but most seem to be for 1 or even 0 shares - what does this mean?

If there isn't funding in place soon then companies needing the technology that Cirata provides will be unwilling to sign a contract with a company that may not be there in six months time. Whilst not in a great bargaining position would Cirata be worth something to one of their competitors?

From the RNS the interim CFO is not a director and the former CFO has resigned as a director immediately.

Errawarra is up 26% -no announcement.

The Company intends to publish its annual results statement on Thursday 3rd October 2024.

That is a fair summing up Pearls but doesn't mention the FCA investigation - The directors should have known that the deals were not as stated - surely they would have spoken to the companies that were supposed to have given Wandisco multi million dollar contracts if only to thank them for the business - they could have offered to take them to a football match in Sheffield!! The FCA as well as throwing the book at the directors have the power to make the company compensate shareholders who were mislead by the RNSs. I am concerned that Cirata may not have enough cash to compensate anyone - and issuing extra shares to compensate us only works if there is a business going forward.

Galliford Try Holdings plc, the UK construction group, today announces that publication of its annual results statement will be delayed due to the Group's auditor, BDO LLP, requesting more time to complete its audit quality control standard procedures. .....

The Group confirms that both the outturn for the year ended 30 June 2024, and outlook remain consistent with the trading update dated 11 July 2024 (the "Trading Update"), with revenue and pre-exceptional profit before tax expected to be above the upper end of analyst forecasts at that time

Pearls 26th June 2024 (60p) “I guess we will soon see who is right or wrong. For the record, I am in and continue to accumulate sub 60p”

Pearls you are very brave (and/or rich) -with only 13 new contracts (or renewals) in Q3 up to 4th September and no significant contracts worth an RNS there is no actual evidence of the significant upturn in business. Without actual large orders they will need further finance. Is their data transfer technology that good? Most firms seem to manage without it -is it needed?

If I have understood correctly Richard Griffiths sold net 2 million shares at the last placing, so slightly wavering support.

The problem may be that companies are reluctant to commit to new contracts if they are unsure if Cirata will still be in business. If the technology is worth something then selling to someone with the resources to support it may be the only way forward.

And turnover this year, given one more lifting later this year will be more than the market cap!

Surely a P/E ratio of 19 and share price only 6 times cash flow for a tech business with no borrowings and growing strongly is low. Many tech companies seem to be all promise - Intercede is actually delivering! I wonder what they plan to do with the cash? - £17m and £9m net cash from operating activities last year.

Most of the money raised is going to the Blue Star acquisition:

US$1.5 million in respect of past costs incurred by Blue Star on the Galactica Project;

· 100% of the costs in respect of six wells capped at US$450,000 per well;

· up to US$2.55 million in in respect of the Company's 50% participating interest share of the tie-back, installation andprocessing expenditures required for the development of the Galactica Project;

"Having said that, it may be only the larger shareholders that get privately advised" Not sure you should be implying that Cirata would illegally be selectively giving information to larger shareholders, they can only do that if planning another placing. It is disappointing that no significant deals have been announced with over half of Q3 gone. The expectation is for between $10.6 - $12.6 bookings in H2 (in Q2 there were 16 bookings worth $1.7m) -so need over 100 bookings at the same average size in H2 which is a big uplift.
