If the share price increases by a good amount and you can make much more than your stake from it ... e.g. 2 times, 5 times, 10 times, then the boards use the phrase "it's a multi-bagger" or a value say 2x bagger, 5x bagger, 10x bagger.

So you get back say 10 times your stake!

So I understand anyway!! Feel free to correct me!

Those OCDO of mine from 11 years ago at float at £1.88 are now £25 so 13.3 time s more value so over 13x bagger!

Interesting about the insect repellant item ... some people get bitten by the bugs ( in USA for example ) and some don't ... maybe the people who don't get / are asymptomatic with Covid are the ones who don't get bitten by the mossies??
I am fine, OH gets bitten a lot so it's a good spray of Bug Off or similar before we hit the parks!

I am out of OCDO for trading, but still have some shares from the float at £1.88 each for a rainy day / Tesla top up!! .... free ride as they say and 15x bagger!

M - Interestingly, DGE ( diabolo! ) and ASC and FEVR have all dropped a bit, may be worth a punt.

Was nice to see OCDO at £25 earlier!!!

Afternoon all,
I have been here all morning, on and off, not a lot of movement ... waiting on PLUS to get it's act together and recover to pre divi SP !
And some older MCRO .. waiting for the rise above 330.
Sold FEVR yesterday for 4% profit, and some newer MCRO at 6% profit although not a lot of shares there....

SNG and GGP are being quiet .... likely awaiting news, and that music platform 7DIG is static despite 2 good contract announcement RNS's ... again awaiting BIG news of tie up with "global tech company".

Watched CCL last couple of days, thought there was some movement .. tempted today to buy back in at 982, left it, so I will see where it goes to today.

You all seem a bit busy trading today so hope all works out well.

S - yes I am up / have been a while!

Bought some SNG at 187 earlier before they bounced to 200 again, slow fall back now so holding them.

S - yep, CINE was a limit sell set over the weekend at 56, the one i had set a while back at 55p expired ... so lucky! Otherwise watching it I would have sold at 53 or 54p.

Got FEVR too ... in profit but want a bit higher price as not got a lot of them ...

Originally watched / tried to play the big companies, but not a lot of volatility or movement so little profit opportunity. Then when we met on the OCDO board I looked at shares you guys mentioned, and more so on "our" board here!
So a bit of "pinch with pride" here on MCRO, Plus, CCL, FEVR etc.

Already had 7dig, GGP, OCDO and UFO (as cheap penny shares bar OCDO ) but got more fun / profit on the likes of MCRO and CCL!! Bandwagon jumping on SNG.

As always, useful info on here and good support from the officers and troops!

Could have been a good day today... taken profits "on the spike" and bought back on the falls....

Sold CINE at 56.1, nice!
Watched FEVR climb to 2123 .. wanted a bit more out of them and now they are 2098 ... always tomorrow!
Same with Plus - climbed, still -ve for me, then fell back again!
Ditto MCRO!
GGP up then down too...

Think it's just the markets!

May get some more SNG at open or if/when price falls further....

Re SNG :
A couple of things - Trump's announcement last night was NOT about SNG's treatment. News on COPD trials due "in August" so idea was MM's are forcing price down to trigger stop losses for a big buy before news / RNS this week... may drop further or bounce back quickly.

Can't find anything about Trumpy's speech tonight, just this from earlier today - not a vaccine or rapid test.

On the eve of the Republican National Convention’s opening night, President Trump on Sunday will hold a news conference at which he is expected to announce the emergency authorization of convalescent plasma for covid-19.

The fast test is expected in a couple of weeks I believe from the news etc.

Grabbed a few FEVR too, looking at the last week/month chart they do seem to bounce quite well between 2100 2300.

Been busy changing a pull cord switch in the cloakroom / WC. Cord snapped last night ( came with the house 23 years ago!
) so had to pop to toolstation for a new one - a whole £1.82 !!!!

It was in the papers yesterday that 50% of parents would NOT allow their kids to be vaccinated against covid ... probably as it has been "rushed through".

Govt has got 350 million doses of 6 different virus vaccines, in case one works. Can't say unprepared this time around ( as per PPE ).

S - are you out shopping now? Wondering if you succeeded in your strategy on Plus this morning - did you get in when the price dropped to 1450 ish? Your prediction was spot on!

Sold my DGE yesterday a little below the buy price so I could buy more plus! Still up after divi on DGE, may trade them again before they shoot up to the earlier highs and get the small loss covered.

Watching the shares drop, Plus was cary first thing but recovered a lot now... divi tucked away!
Also divi day on Standard Life ( SLA ) a historical share which also dropped by more than the divi! Another few quid locked in, and shares to sell on when they slowly recover.

M - yep, I found the HL calcs cost me when I sold one / the last block of shares bought at different prices - said in profit, looked at my actual cost and was a loss! Still doing that now on the last of my MCRO ... says profit at 306, cost was 326 .... it seems to be based on a "lifetime" buys volume/cost ... even if some sold at a profit all the loss accrues on the last shares.

S - thanks for the Plus clarity, pretty much my thoughts. I am in for the divi... nice divi too.. am down on todays price at the moment even tho I bought in on the drop to 1520 ish!
