With the fall of hospitality yesterday, I did buy back into Marstons MARS, and they are now in profit! Yipee!

I still think CINE are down due to limit on numbers, but Cinemas not explicitly mentioned, and sports etc. are still not limited to 6 people....

Car has had it's initial jet wash, then snow foam and soaked, before jet wash rinse.
Now 2 bucket wash ( one warm with car shampoo, one just warm water - always rince the lambswool mitt in the clean water after wach wash panel NOT in the shampoo water to avoid the grit etc. staying in the clean soapy water! ).
Then jet wash rinse.
Then hand dry with microfibre waffle cloth.

Just in case any one was interested!

Every month or two I'd give it a polish / prime ( like a pre wax ) and then finish with a shine polish.

Takes at least a day, often most of a weekend for all that.
Don't do it as often now.

T - RNS only needed when a holding passes set points - 3% or 5% ( I think depends on which country holder is in ).
If go from 2.9% to 1% for example, no need to RNS.

S - No, not mad, actually a bit Gino ( remember those simillies ages ago! ) taking a good profit now, I did same but at 15.4 last week or so. Bought back today at 16.9 !!! Currently 37% up ... had traded / sold my 7p - 8p GGP a while ago.

Thanks T, I agree on the testing, esp. the TT E machine with very quick tests and the markets.

T - Didn't see the Sky demo of the test. The ones I have seen on TV or online news were like a blood sugar test - finger prick, but the cheaper 15 minute one was either saliva or blood on a card treated with chemicals.

I agree the test could be linked to a person - test has a barcode, you enter your details, do test, result stored / shows on phone as say a barcode. ( Would be useful to send data back to NHS but likely too many data concerns there! ).
I would suggest that if it takes 5 days to incubate, when would thetest detect if it is looking for genes or protein spikes off the virus? Could test today CLEAR but be a carrier only testing +ve 5 days later??

Of course 1 person in a household ( or a friend etc. ) who IS clear of virus could do the test for you, you just get the kit and enter your details .... cynical but possible! Same as people with symptoms not declaring them as they do not wish to miss an event / holiday or cannot afford to miss work.

But it does seem to happen .. I bought CINE yesterday and they fall ... sold DGE Monday they rise Tuesday!
Got a few more GGP before the hopeful rise.... only thing blue in my portfolio!

Had got some more SNG.MCRO and CINE in last 2 days, all down - as I thought yesterday it is mainly down to the restriction in numbers on Monday, pubs and group leisure / hospitality areas, according to HL share news. Hoped I had got in near the bottom but no... let's see how they rally or off they go and get sold again!

Watched uncle Boris and his friends, sounded reasonably good, many positives, explanations for new measures, and Chris Whitty or the other science guy explaining about why oxford vaccine stopped trials .... hard to stop a trial when it's already injected in many people! Seems one adverse reaction to the vaccine, but may just be a normal illness....
Did sound as though they expect this to last until spring next year .... especially as he said vaccines in the spring!
Thought SNG may get a mention when he was on about theraputics and vaccines...
Dexomethasome is the steroid they referred too as working.
SNG's news today shows it does not clash with steroids, actually works with them!

S - Groundhog day sounds just like here.....

Sold some MCRO for 292 just now, 3^ profit, bought cheap last week ... so expect them to shoot up!

Should I buy SNG, MCRO or CINE ... hmm choices.....

Was reading a share news, the drop in pub / brewers this week, and likely CINE, is down to the new restrictions on inside or outside gatherings of people, down from 30 to 6. That applies to pubs, does it apply to cinemas too???

S - is it worth looking at new phone contract? O2 doing 100gb data for £20!

GGP keep rising with the odd pull back, I was topping up on the dips, did sell 1/4 of them last week for nice profit still got my core holding, I was going to get more in the 15's but dithered...
A few mining reports coming out next couple of weeks, and info on the drilling looks interesting....

Morning all, well afternoon.

Sunny and moist here, a bit like Florida weather in autumn ... from where I would have arrived back last weekend! Ohh well.

Why did SNG dop 10% on the RNS - I thought it was good news, especially from the boards interpretations? Bought more yesterday at 194 ish, missed the 187 price today as was reading around!

S - yeah DGE dancing on the coals now, that's what I liked about them a few months ago, quick and large swings ... which have been rare during lockdown. Was a good report on their performance recently so expected a rise. But being impatient I sold them yesterday in the 2590's for a little profit - although with the number of shares I held it's not hundreds lost.

Looks like I can bottom lice come cheap MCRO soon and see if I buy more SNG, MCRO or CINE.

S - Busy day! I wanted 2640 for nice profit on my DGE but also got impatient and sold at small profit so I can play elsewhere! These were bought after I sold my divi shares at a small loss ... as DGE fell last week. Revenge buy!!

T - I don't feel bad, just see I am missing out! Got nice big divi on Plus, just need a recovery to make it worthwhile!
Otherwise, all OK.

Yes, I have been Jealous watching the range on ASC ... I got in too deep on the divi shares and stuck with a load of PLUS ( and SLA ) which if I sold wipe out my didv value ) So will let them get back in the 1500's for plus, 270's for SLA.

DGE gone for 0.26% profit, and risen more since"" Doh!!

Got a few more SNG and MCRO at the low prices, in case SNG swings tomorrow again or the news on the COPD trials kicks them upwards.

Re-thinking my trading strategy for the future, stay with one or two volatile shares and don't gt bogged down in several "recovery" shares ... didn't do all that well on the Marstons, Morrisons, Wetherspoons, Mitchell & Butler, lately CINE ...

I have been in and out today here, sorting car for MOT - which it passed! Not really a worry.

Since most things were on a downwards spiral this morning I did other things!

More news about new rapid tests ( NYCT ) and travel so maybe things start to fly!!

DGE moved up into my profit range so will have a few quid shortly!

2nd day of high covid cases in UK - as bad as in May.

France vastly increased cases. ( Be careful S )

7 Greek islands under quarantine, all of Greece if going back to Scotland.
1/3 of Scotland under lockdown conditions ...

Seems younger people are now bored with the restrictions and just doing what they used to do. And spread it to families, friends, school, work etc.
