Cleaned up my portfolio. Disposed of MCRO at a couple k loss, SLA I got for divi at 1k loss, and MARS that HL said were profit but actually a small loss!

Took the plunge on ASC at 4687, so expect it to fly the same way bricks don't!

I was probably bored..... and after watching / playing fantasy day trader on ASC for a while, lets do it!

Nice to see most of you back on here!

Chancellor has offered more support for jobs and businesses that close, following tier 3 in Gtr Manchester and south Yorks.

T - ASC -as I would have missed the afternoon rise I would have been watching the price fall this morning and waited until it levelled of, which looks like 4750 ish at 9:00 ish, then been miffed as if fell more after short rise! So I'd be down a bit now....

T - quite true... manipulation.. Bah!

I'll either sell off some loss makers ( MCRO anyone! ) or add new money, to play ASC. A few lots of several hundred quid a day is worth the losses as you say!

T - As I missed thefirst early spike/dip it would have been at about 10:30 I would have bought. I would have sold around 4910 ish as the price flattened over 12:00 pm, not risking a fall back! Although rise to 4950, and right now over £50 ! I would have been out after 12:30 so missed the second spike!

Worth doing this dummy run to get more familiar with the trends ...

Wet and dull day here.

Looks like the markets bounced a little earlier, fallen back a bit now.
Still watching ASC - 2 spike & shakes yesterday about 150p and 90p, today a big drop after open... I would have bought in at 4869, lets see how I would have done over today!!

If you fancy a vaccine, China are selling them to the public at £45 each ... not approved yet but people queueing around the block since 5 am to get it!!
Ebay or Alibaba may sell them! ;-))

I have a friend who wanted me to go with him to the scrap yard next week to get bits for his old car. He's also going from here to Birmingham this weekend to see his kids from ex girlfriend. Also has mum ( in 70's ) round his house most days. These new lockdown measures just got a shrug of the shoulders and OK..... obviously he ain't going to be following them. He's also 46 and overweight so a higher risk. Says he'd like 2 weeks off work on full pay ( company policy! ) .
HE may not be Mr. IQ but he's not thick, and on a reasonable wage on shifts... but I think this is a general attitude maybe more so now people are bored of restrictions ...

Also, got a line in my portfolio for my offer SNG shares. Do I just make sure there is money in the account for it to go thru ( they start trading Monday ) or do I have to accept the offer ? No e-mail from HL.

The ASC trading would be profitable, as you calculated yesterday best part of £2.60 over a couple of trades, and were up 220p earlier today

Now dust has settled over the financials, I'll have a dabble as I get capital free'd up.

Hope their is news of the vaccines, getting silly up here with Lockdowns - Manchester going into lockdown level 3 forcibly as the mayor doesn't agree, Lancashire level 3 but leaving some things open, lots down south in level 2 as of tonight!

We are still waiting for Synaigen's SNG001 treatment to get some press as a very good treatment for covid, ( and COPD, Asthma etc. ) ... I'd better phone that nice mr. Hanc0ck and tell him!

LOL - Got back the re-possessed parts, and probably 2/3 of a new one to add to the fleet! NCYT seem to be doing very well, I traded them earlier this year and from my records at the 230 - 300 mark!!! They moved slow so stayed out of them!!!!

Sort of same as UFO, bought in at 0.07p, traded a few times but slow so sold and stayed out until last few weeks!
UFO - tell me if I am off topic / boring you, it rapidly bounced to 2.3, 2.4, 2.45, then I pulled the trigger for 41% profit!
They have been volatile today so looks like a cheap but rewarding trading share for now.
Of course I expect them to hit 3p today while I am out of them!!!

I found some CINE behind the fridge, well in the ISA, at 62p !!! Topped up at 23p today to average down so only stand me at 42 p now.... if they start to cycle 23p - 28p I may as well trade them! Gotta get my losses back somehow ... especially as a few of the big losses were in the ISA and I can't offset CGT with them!

T - I used to go to Pembray ( spelling? ) motor sport centre in the late 80's rallying, not too far from you I think!

Boring you with my UFO tales...
Bought back in at 1.75p ( after selling at 1p from 0.7p buy ) and found after open this morning it was 2.8p YIPEE. But as I had missed the extra 1p to 1.75p rise the other day, I dithered and watched the SP fall from 2.8 to 2.0. DOH. It will rise again, I should have took the >50% profit and bought back now it's fallen!

Seem lots on near news on vaccines etc. after the EMA meeting yesterday, 3 due in Q1 2021.
Rapid testing to reduce quarantine ( paid for personally ) coming in soon probably.
Lancashire ( That your bit M ) now of very high level lockdown, but as they convinced govt they had good controls in gyms and others not everything will follow level 3 lockdown! More potential confusion.

T - Caravan was in north wales, initially Prestatyn, near Talacre beach ( 2006 ) ( was a hire place, seemed full of Sun readers with the £9 a week holiday vouchers ) sold and bought on an owners only site in Dyserth.
Wih the wife's work hours / school, could only really use at weekends, and no / poor wifi so kids not interested! Used more by friends and family ... so got sold.

Let's see what I get re: SNG placing. Yes, understandable to raise funds for phase 3 trials, discussion on the boards yesterday covering options - Govt, JV, buy in from big pharma! Price recovered to 200 now fallen again, no point in paying 175 if market price is same / lower!

Mother in law has been in a home with dementia several years, her daughters have not been able to see her since March. She's pretty far gone so probably hasn't noticed, the the other half and her sisters worry about passing covid on, to the extent that any food or treats they drop off for her are quarantined a few days here, wiped with anti bac / virus wipes and left at the reception. The home do send photos and videos now and again.
Neighbour saying her mother would prefer to get covid to not seeing the neighbour is just stupid, I bet they would be the first to complain if it did happen!

Looks a red day on the markets so far.
SNG dropped 30p overnight, as there was an out of hours RNS last night about a placing. This closed today, another RNS.
Price offered was 175p. Looks like doubled the number of shares out there.....
£7m worth are available to private investors.... how do we get them using HL etc.?

Looks like you were right on ASC T, easy to buy in the £46 range ... need some cash before I can buy so I'll keep an eye on them.
