The studios are now allowed to buy cinemas / cinema chains ( previous old law overturned recently ) so maybe drive the SP down and buy a cinema chain cheaply?
If studios delay a movie they get no income anyway ... so CINE closing for this year makes no difference to them, but with their deep pockets studios can likely survive. So cinemas close until Q1 2021 when the big films start to be released ( Bond, Black Widow, some musical remake! ) then they reduce the cash burn ... particularly if they can claim rent freeze, business interruption loan repayment freeze, a form of furlough / the new employees offer etc.
As long as there are enough cinemas left... CINE inc Regal in USA are 2nd largest in the world apparently.

Straight to stream e.g. Mulan doesn't really pay enough ( $40 for Mulan remake! ) and was apparently pirated in HD within a few hours of initial release. I doubt other studios will release it on their streaming service / Netflix / Amazon prime video, hulu, HBO etc.

Anyway we will have to wait and see.

I agree likely fall on open ... and unless this IS all a ploy then nothing to support a rise in SP this year.

Yes, the MCRO article was rather negative, looked a bit biased, some of the fundamentals were more or less correct.
Waiting on their figures or change in sentiment, I expect getting back to 300p shortly but doubt the 500p+ for 18 months or so.

If they do a 10 - 15p range can at least trade them!

R - yeah, same here. I am in it at 326, 290, 270 !!! Keeps falling, now I'm looking at spike/shake in the 258-246 range if possible, if it rises!
Doom and gloom on the MCRO board .... lots of PI's with 500p holdings

Figures due Nov I think so will turn one way or another...

S - DGE recovered really well, based on better sales / profit in last weeks figures.
Boo fell despite pretty good figures and forward view AND getting over the supply chain scandal!

Looking at the shares I was hoping to hold for months+ - recovery shares - some are doing well now!
B & M bargains well up after slow movements a few months ago; Halfords slowly improved until todays results show big increases in sales esp. cycles in Sept, Pets At Home, slow rise until financials last week!

The hospitality shares fared less well - JDW ( Tim Martins comments didn't help ), Marstons, Mitchell & Butler, cine etc.

Nice to see SNG recover, had bought more on the fall to trade so can now play the spikes and shares!

Looking for my others shares to show some movement to trade, small movements but working it out and if the pattern stays the same for a few days at these prices then could be a couple of hundred quid a trade ... even if they originally cost a little more. Looking at my MARS, CINE, MCRO really, to spike and drop.

M - Boris mentioned "Treatments" amongst vaccines and testing at the 5 O'Clock briefing, no mention of SNG directly, only know of 1 other new theraputic at the moment ( beyond that Dexi and the fake stuff Trumpy has! ... bleach? Hydroxychoroquinoline? crack?)

Several rapid tests mentioned recently, from instant, 15 mins to 90 mins ... price ranging from £5 to more. If you are on a holiday / flight well worth it, for a £20 event, maybe not.

Welcome back M, glad you are having fun and frolics over there! Your home county is in local lockdown like mine and the north east!
You seem to be getting stuck into watching the shares ready for trading when it looks good! SNG is annoying, had been trading it a bit and bought more as it fell, now it's fallen a fair bit... it WILL come back up but not what I expected!

R- well done on the TUI. On LSE, don't refresh the page or go to another page on LSE in the same window, else your message goes missing! Sometimes it has a lag before messages show and only reappears when you post a new message. Yesterday was just very quiet!

I've nosied at other shares, done OK and then done badly... not bothered IAG, DART, TUI, EZJ or CCL for a while.

Trying to trade MCRO as it had a 10 -1 55p range, which stopped! Holding a few stocks which have fallen since latest lockdown and little movement to day trade! Not gonna moan at my paper loss as I appreciate many people have way bigger stakes and would be looking at a bigger red number.

Got my SLA ( Standard Life ) divi yesterday, just need to shift these now ...! Waiting in Diabolo divi Oct and then Plus..... in Nov!

Capt. Treacle has been missing in action since Sunday/Monday ... hope all is well there sir!

S- another nice rise on NCYT - you've held them a longtime so nice profit - anything you want to spend on - take that as profit! Or take out 1/2 or all your original stake and get a free ride?
How much further do you think they will rise .. last big rise they slipped back 1/3 of it ....
Same as SNG ... sliding at the moment!
Obviously just my suggestion / opinion .... do what you are comfortable with! ( Remember when I don't sell they fall, when I sell they rise more! ).
