I worked i aerospace through the height of the pandemic. Factories we're not forced to close! We had no PPE ( it alll went to the NHS )not even for risk assessed jobs it was impossible to keep 2m apart we are represented by the largest union in the country but we all knew aerospace and our jobs were in big dodo, my point is that there is massive BS around all this from do-gooders. Yes we're on more than minimum wage but we don't get a top up from tax credits either, that is those that are left after large redundancy.
