Mate, I’m invested in AFC. I first invested in 2010 and again a couple of years later. Both times I cashed in at an appropriate time and made thousands of real profit. You should be pleased I’m back given my track record for timing the market.

You’ve been saying this is going to be £1+ next year for 15 years - it really is like Del Boy telling Rodders they’ll be millionaires. I know you deny this being the case, and I’ll believe you if you want; but it’s certainly someone that writes in an almost identical style and with no appreciation of uncertainty or potential drawbacks. Another uncanny similarity that’s come out today is that you’re also unnecessarily abusive to any poster that might have a different opinion that doesn’t match your optimism. Why do this? It’s not as if something written on a internet forum is going to affect the share price!

LinkedIn is a cringe-worthy site at the best of times. It’s dominated by wannabe business influencers providing buzzword-heavy career advice, despite being in their early 20s. It’s has very limited actual benefits other than being a useful tool to find the name behind CVs sent by recruiters where they’ve redacted the candidate’s name to prevent direct approach.

The thought that a serious client would contact a non-employee via this platform to make a substantive sales enquiry - the sort that could affect the share price - is fantasy I’m afraid.

The delusion is with anyone who thinks having LinkedIn contacts with AFC employees gives them the inside track.

You’d be surprised at how easy it is to spot your style of posting over the last 15 years. And yes, you do seem to be active over a number of forums. You even created a dedicated one called shareholdersofafc!

Let people make their own profit-taking decisions. Nothing is ever certain about future market value of any equity. As soon as anything does become certain, it’s already priced in.

Nothing will happen. It’ll just flat line all day on a low volume of trades.

Save yourself the hassle and get on with some work instead, or watch the cricket.

News will come when it comes. He's not going to over-hype or make something up just because it's his anniversary; business doesn't work like that.

Wouldn't this count as insider trading if news was about to be released? If anything, the CEO's wife buying a such a significant chunk of shares makes an RNS-worthy bit of news less likely, no?

Of course they’d release news as and when. The notion that they’ll either create or delay news so that they can release it on an anniversary is perplexing.

No. But the price will likely continue its historic volatility and there’s money to be made by selling at the right time.

Do posters still speculate that some of the small trades seen are secret MM coded messages to be each other, like it wouldn’t be much easier for them to use WhatsApp or similar?

Thanks. This is worth knowing. Some of his/her analyses of share value were fanciful to say the least.

Judging by message boards such as these, lots of people (me included) made a load of cash from taking their profits in AFC shares in 2010 and 2012, and presumably in 2021 as well (alas I wasn’t on board that particular roller coaster). There’s certainly excitement to be had with a share like this, but it all counts for nothing if you don’t actually sell at some point and get the ££ into your account.

I’ve been in and out of this stock since 2010, riding many of the exciting roller-coaster rides in that time, and the message board narrative has never changed. Any slight bit of upwards movement and the the price is always going to be £1+ in months, and if it slips it’s the dastardly MMs holding the price back or doing a mythical tree shake.

I remember a poster called Fuelcells on this platform who also posted as stokacity on interactive investor. We’re not talking about the same guy, are we? His degree of price ramping (accompanied by dubious substantiation) on these forums was on the verge of irresponsible.
