RE: It can’t30 Jan 2026 11:10
To be fair, CN HAS been invested in AFC and been active on here (and other forums) for years - since 2009 as far as I know - just under different guises.
I’m prepared to believe his claims that he owns several hundred thousand AFC shares, and in those 17 years he’d have seen them rise up to be as valuable as 70-80p a share at times (including as long ago as 2010), only to return to flounder in the 10-20p range.
If you were to see such a fluctuation of your on-paper net worth without having taken any profits then it’s understandable that he always comes across as so angry and agressive to anyone that suggests that it’s not a certainty that AFC share value will rise.
Patience is all well and good, but if an AFC share holder had sold a chunk at the 2010 peak, he/she could’ve invested that profit into a passive all-world ETF and see that value treble. Even if you’d cashed in and done the same at the peak only 5 years ago your money in such a fund would’ve increased by 60-70% by now.
