Over an hour since the market opened, and this hasn’t exactly popped, has it?

Spread is an irrelevance once the market is closed, to be honest. It does however seem to have been driven by a large Uncrossing Trade on the close of play that was at a high price. We’ll have to wait until Monday to see whether the Sell price is pulled up to reduce the spread or the Buy price dropped - or maybe a combo.

All driven by the uncrossing trade (UT) at the end. Not seen a case where the value of a UT was so much higher than the previous trades, and all trades during the day in this case.

Don’t ask me what this signifies, but am happy that it’s on the upside!

Reform are oil-funded. They hate anything other than fossil fuels for energy production.

The next U.K. general election isn’t likely to be until summer 2029. By that time Trump will no longer be US president, so the influence of his support for Reform will be reduced.

In terms of Reform’s policies on renewables, well they can’t just get rid of wind farms, solar or other non-fossil-fuel energy sources. Our current energy supply is about 44% renewables right now so that’d be madness unless unless we want no power for 10 hours a day.

Oil-funded reform hat renewables and they hate that the UK capacity is growing significantly every year as new solar and wind farms come on line. If elected, they might stop construction of bew clean energy farms, but by that point we’ll alrrady be getting close to 70-75% of our energy from them anyway.

He’s not getting paid; that doesn’t make sense. If he’s the same guy that’s been posting on here and on interactive investor forums since about 2010, and his writing and theories bare all the hallmarks off that guy, then he’s heavily invested in AFC and has held a few hundred thousand shares since the days of them being in the 5-10p range.

I can imagine that seeing the share price rises to give paper profits of a few hundreds thosands pounds only to decline back to break even 3 times in that would make you a bit obsessive.

Well done! There’s certainly money to be made from volatile AIM shares, such as this. The key is to have a strategy and be disciplined in its execution.

I’m not sure if I’ve ever sold a share and not got a higher quote than the bid. Can usually buy at lower than the ask as well.

I know full well that you’ve been here a long time, as well as on the AFC forum on interactive investor back in the day. I recognise your posting style of getting unnecessarily angry at anyone that questions your optimism or when the list of daily trades show some significant sells.

Amusing to be accused of being a new poster seeing as I’ve been engaging in discussions on AFC on here for about 16 years and seen many a dramatic rise and fall of its value. I just haven’t posted obsessively, that’s all.

It’s the only AIM share that I’ve ever traded, and I’ve done quite nicely out of it by actually taking some profits every now and then. You should be pleased I’m back in; I seem to have a good record.

I wish Statethefacts would stop changing his username. It’d be a lot easier to put him on ignore.

A message to any new followers of this share: he’s got a huge vested interest in AFC and has had for about 15 years under various usernames. While I personally hope that it goes well for him (as I also have a few quid in the game right now), he knows nothing more than the rest of us, so please don’t let him influence your trading decisions.

Nope. Volumes are nowhere near high enough.

Er no. The price has followed the same pattern throughout the day on Tradegate as it has anywhere else. The tradegate starting price was just higher as they facilitated out-of-hours (in this case UK bank holiday) and the pre-market price was a bit higher than Friday’s close.

And that’s just the profile history of the latest username. I’ve been dipping in and out of AFC since 2009 and I’m certain thisbloke has been posting on this forum, as well as the interactive investor forum back in the day, under different usernames for 16-17 years.

If it’s not the same guy, then he certainly writes in the same style and has the same bizarre theories.

A share price isn’t going to be affected by what someone says on an internet message board.

Besides, what about all the people (or multiple user accounts anyway) that tell people not to sell as the value’s going to be £1+ imminently? I wonder how may thousands people have lost on paper profits because of these slippery customers and their vested interests?

So let me get this straight: The whole premise of this thread is criticising people that buy shares and are disciplined enough to take profits, right?

This is to be expected. The price went up by about 20% over Weds-Fri last week. People are crystalising their profits.

The volume seen yesterday, and also Thursday, are more in the nature of those that we used to see when the share price was ready to take off in days of yore. Haven’t been that excited about some the other jumps in the last 6 months because there just weren’t the volumes to underpin them. This feels different though, to the extent that I feel the need to sort my profit-taking strategy to put in place for the next couple of months.
