The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Nice chart Lefkosia. It's approaching top up time, but it's not quite there yet. When the bid is the ask it's about prime for some fat trades.
What mannan said - theres the next bandwagon to jump on for all the educated on here. It’s only up 150% - quick, pile in rofl
Got spiked, Gopies?
No chart can predict when Invesco will sell, but spikes like this plus recent months of reduced stakes should be at the forefront of peep’s mind when spikes like this occur. This is why I had a good inkling that Friday was going to be a poor day for anyone getting in or holding despite the minor drop earlier in the day, much to a series of boos and hisses for forewarning.
I think there will be more imo of course, others may come to the conclusion that Invesco are satisfied now. Either way, it presents a good opportunity for everyone else thats here to stick it out, and regardless - Invesco are losing out big time on both what they bought for, and future potential. Some one is due a P45 in months to come for being doubly inept on that front, especially if the stake is reduced to zero over the coming months.
I have an inkling where the price is going, and at what point i’ll fill my boots again - but rather than appear derampy, i’ll keep quiet and wait to see what next week brings.
On the plus side, half year accounts turnaround + cash at bank + tencent + facebook ad breaks + apac under Caroline Troman = Many positives
Looks like we all hold similar opinions, despite our squabbles. Hold/buy is going to pay off. I do hope there is further amazing news on Monday, after all this is AIM and despite selling some, i still hold a good ol’ chunk. I apologise for the way i’ve come across today, my aim is the same as everyone else on here. Increase positions when possible, add more money certainly to create a better stake, and these dips are a great opportunity. Nobody on this bb is ‘in the know’ me included. Just hope BBSN would give some financials every now and again when dropping in new clients, but that would surely give away their secrets to competitors which is why i guess they don’t. Makes year end that bit more special, and that’s what im pinning in the diary for the next stage of the journey. Still, I hope we all get our way. Next tommorow, news in a month, news in Jan...it’s all gravy.
Looking forward to some good chats over the coming months now the boards been brought back to life, best wishes & happy weekend.
SELC- or just don’t jump in on the spike. Once again, if its on the riser board, it’s already too late. The others who magically appeared yesterday have also gone very quiet all of a sudden...plus, the next spike will *probs* be year end. At that point, pending results, there is no more wait for the retrace to top up. Solid results will cement a better SP, none of this up down spike crap of the past few months.
Looks like some hefty top ups next week my end depending on where it’s at. Just needs to fid it’s new floor, which afaik is not far off the old floor.
Give it a few weeks, Average down and sit on your hands until Jan unless the sell button proved too tempting already. Atb
...repeating itself at end of play. Have a good weekend, and once again - every cloud.
Such, they have held for a long time and cocked it up royal back in the day buying the hype that was Rightster when it was tipped as the next big thing when in reality - they really didn't do much other than shift PI hard earned cash to their own bank accounts. Appears the buy high sell low strategy applies not only to PI's.
Other II's are holding steady, plus the mystery Simon Davies' 3%er who could have took his money, near doubled it and run all within the space of two weeks. Every cloud..
Let Invesco sell away - more for peeps here to snap up at penneth of what this will be worth in time. They did the same the other month as I recall - slowly selling up their position? Not sure their clients will be happy if they close out ahead of what is going to be an interesting 2019.
Also, Didn't Invesco buy in significantly higher than 2p back in the Rightster days? If so, they are still selling at a big loss, even on yesterdays spike.
How it is a contradiction? If they have bought in high, average out over the months rather than hit the sell button! I can't get much clearer than that. My posts refer to rainbow chasers that came yesterday, got hit on the spike or the way down and are hovering over the sell button. Outside of this BB it's a much wider world, people will be buying and selling, but to anyone reading I'd say stick it out until after new year, that's when it's gonna get interesting - not on the back on an RNS that doesn't detail how much this deal is worth.
I agree that this is a turning point, one of many, but I mentioned yesterday that it's more a string to the bow. No details on financials, little info to date. Same with a lot of BBSN contracts, we may have P&G, Ford, PGA etc, but comparing the MCAP of P&G to BBSN doesn't work. Nobody minus the top brass at BBSN know what those contracts are worth. It's a credit however to the company that they can pull such names - that i agree.
The corner is still being turned, and it's almost there. Almost. I have no doubt that this is going to be stellar in years to come, surpassing Geeforces, and my own expectations.
As I said, we will see in months to come where the SP goes to. Maybe your right, maybe I am. Opinions are like ar5e holes after all. We all have one.
Until new year it would be nice to see;
-More contract wins
-A return to the Tubular Labs top 10
-An assault on the top tubular places of May/June/July
-More info on the Tencent deal
Hi Geeforce. Hope you are well, 8p would be cracking - I see that as being easily achievable too in 12 months pending the right news which needs to include some solid financials. I won't play down the tencent news being huge - it is. To what extent financially - hard to say. All will become clear just after New Year though!
As i said vog, stand by your words when this drops. I didn't sell it all, that would be daft. I sold a portion knowing that this will end up in months to come close to where it started. It may take 3 months, but it will short of something that stops the share drift - the only thing being actual, solid financials which are hopefully on the way.
Nobody here controls the market, we comment as and when about the market. If i'm wrong, I'm wrong but I've seen how BBSN plays out and history repeating itself etc. And fwiw I did mention this;
"I think Such was being conservative - but hey ho, that's my agenda of course. Buy low, sell high, buy low, sell high - wait and be rewarded once the profit comes." -
I don't need to influence anyone in to selling so that I can buy lower, this will happen naturally, long after this thread is buried under 30 pages. If newbs want to come on here and lose money, that's up to them. I hope they stick it out because there is a turning point in this company, and it's approaching.
"Not that floor again"
Tall words vog, I hope you stand by them in weeks/months to come. The ones who have played the long game on here are laughing at the moment. We've seen it all before, and know the prices to top up at. Almost free shares for life my end at the mo, and I'll sink in yesterdays profits once it reaches a certain level to continue the long game and increase the risk with a large increased position.
Hope any newcomers do the same and stay away from the sell button, I know how tempting it is to jack it all in on a loss - but BBSN's story is more than a few spikes - it's a heartbeat about to be shocked back in to life over the coming years.
FWIW, I think Such was being conservative - but hey ho, that's my agenda of course. Buy low, sell high, buy low, sell high - wait and be rewarded once the profit comes.
Hi milnrow, I hope that is the case. Maybe there is a new breed joining post Tencent news who will stick it out for longer rather than selling because of the often frustrating lack of news at times. Good times ahead - hopefully by Jan.
I totally agree that this is a unique company. Perhaps one of the more interesting on AIM and certainly (once the turnaround is complete) will be a rising star. The fundamentals btw aren't sound. As with any AIM share, it's an informed gamble. The last trading update shows a loss which has been the story here for a long time. This is coming to an end thankfully, but it's still not a cert. Cash burn reduced, still money left in the kitty to return this to profit, but no profit - yet.
I have no power over this share, the market does - but this will suffer a sudden drop followed by the usual period of downward drift in which PI's are literally bored out of their shares before the next news. That i assure you.
At the same time, it's good to have this board back to life again. For every 100 day traders that piled in to this, hopefully there is one new LTH that sticks around here for the long ride.
There is a lot more to this company than Tencent as I've mentioned before. However, for all the names that are signed as partners, new opportunities and clients - the financials are never known. DYOR and best of luck to everyone new on here. I hope they stick around and average out their holdings as any dips appear.
Having been in this since May (post spike), today has almost been a repeat of back then. The rainbow chasers arrived, bumped up the price and promptly vanished nursing mostly losses I guess. Classic. Tomorrow they will consult the riser board again on a new share and a new forum, rinse and repeat. The trouble is, if it’s on the riser board - it means your alresdy too late to the party.
I’ve said it once, i’ve said it s thousand times - I hope that all LTH’s that i’ve had the pleasure of discussing this share with at length managed to lock in some profit today. Now wait for tomorrows dip and follow it through for a few weeks and then buy back at retrace penneth courtesy of those that have zero understanding of what they were buying into today.
Tencent is now another string to the bow, yet we are still a fair way off year end. This company is changing. Profitability is near. It’s at this point that these large jumps become both real, and cemented in the SP. To anyone that gets hit on tommorow mornings inevitable fall, my only advice is stick it out and quit the buy high sell low strategy.
I think your post may go over the heads of most on here, but bravo. If today gets any better i’m gonna take Dorothy Mantooth out for a nice seafood dinner, and then never call her again.
Correct, the first day of a rise doesn’t, but all those that are here on the back of the tencent news know nothing of the past few years of this company, and it’s increased pace turnaround. Said it back in May, lth’s will be rewarded here over the years.
If it goes to 5.5+, i will be doing a happy dance. Congrats to all the lth’s here, the naysayers must be kicking themselves today who bashed this back in May.
