Jokers. 20% spread! Once more, this share price is CAPPED by the MM's.
I'd give Hargreaves Lansdown a big thumbs up for AIM trades. Never had any problems with them.
Your current one could be down to a change in 'risky' AIM stocks. Sometimes you need to fill in additional paperwork to be able to trade in them, and there was also something I saw a few months ago re; the company having to fill in some paperwork for certain brokers - otherwise they would suspend trading in their stocks. I guess BBSN would have been all over this, but I do recall a few of my other stocks didn't and a few guys were kicking off about being barred from making transactions until the paperwork was sorted. Think this was with RBS?
Hi Julio,
Yes, the past few years have been a total nightmare. You only have to look back 5 years to see where the SP was, to what it is now.
On the plus side, the losses have subsided to the point where a break even is/has been crossed depending on whether or not you go off EBITDA, plus factor in that there was a large hit the other year in removing the low margin contracts. As to whether it's a safe investment, I'd ask if any stock, not just tech is a safe investment in the current climate. Add in AIM to the mix and it's a recipe for incredible gain or a staggering loss.
Cash call - possible, but unlikely. BBSN is funded well for the next 3 or so years off the top of my head. If we have truly reached that pivotal turning point, then any dilution is unlikely. Saying that, I had another stock recently take a hit when it too was apparently fully funded, and then the dreaded begging bowl came out for more cash at a large SP discount.
I'd say look in to the clients that Bison are tied in with and the viewing figures that are achieved and take a look in to the last accounts statement to see where things are at. The past is best left where it is and reminds me of the old Warren B quote; "I turned the chart upside down and it still gave me the same answer."
I believe that we are at an important turning point in BBSN, and short of anything negative cropping up - this also happens to be the ground floor on the share price at present. So much so that as per my previous post I've just made my 18th, and final buy trade on BBSN a few hours ago.
If you look at other tech stocks then I'd certainly say that there is great promise for 2019. I won't draw comparisons to others; but if 2019 is BBSN's year for profit and growth it will signal a large shift SP wise.
Tbh, what is your risk profile as an investor? If your uncomfortable with losing money then I'd suggest not buying BBSN, nor any AIM stock for that matter! Either way, DYOR and have a good think on it. Any research I've carried out leads me to one positive conclusion, and someone else to the opposite.
Just topped up another £1250

Beating Buzzfeed :)
Btw, speaking of Tubular labs, the new results are there (although not official yet).
Up from 9th place to 5th place for September - back in the game! Assault that no.1 spot and there will be your news ahead of the new year!
Follow the money on this one. Large stake, and doesn't appear to have sold on the spike.
News wise - I'd expect to see something more on Mutha and Perk channels in the coming months, but then again, maybe not.
As Geeforce said - it's a sit and wait, or sit and top up.
FSA, profit is near impossible to calculate when it comes to BBSN. Far to many models, near zero info on values of contracts. Alls we know is that the deadwood contracts have been cleared out, headcount cut, Facebook ad revenue ongoing, new channels, Tencent, new contract wins, Unilad etc as positives. Based on the last financials i’d say Geeforce is on the money. End of year we should see healthy EBITDA, and i will go out on a limb as mentioning that. decent post tax profit for the year is on the cards. This won’t stay at the mid 1’s.
In terms of BBSN mopping up the Unliad viewers - this is good news.
Facebook can, and do change things in a heartbeat I agree - but BBSN has a v. healthy balance sheet. Unliad collapsed with large debt, BBSN has none. Re; growtth - BBSN is consistently number 1 on FB views anyway, so Unilad have always chased us, not the other way around. Unliad's demise will just bring more viewers to this side and make it easier to grow those already impressive numbers. I'm interested to see the effect of this on Tubular Labs results in months to come seeing as they appeal to the same audience. An assault on the number one overall social media spot may be on the cards here which will cause a spike of epic proportions on an RNS. Also, there are currently two companies fighting it out over the Unilad carcass according to the drum. Bets on BBSN being one of them??
Lastly, the Facebook model as you have mentioned is the very reason that BBSN have signed the partnership deal with Tencent. All eggs in the same basket and all that..
for Unilad. Good news for BBSN;

Makes sense minermate - the puzzle pieces are starting to fit. MTR's shelf life on AIM appears limited.
Afternoon all, long time no speak. Looks like an interesting time to rejoin the MTR crowd again - especially as CK has done another 180, surely it means something is on the horizon.
Oh yes, 2019 should be a very good year. As with anything BBSN it's nigh on impossible to work out whether or not they will finish the year in profit, but it's certainly looking 75/25 in favour of next year being the true turning point of seeing some plus figures, short of anything further popping up this year (of which I think there may be one or more surprises that lead to another spike or two).
Takeover is certainly on the cards too. CH has flipped a few companies in the past, and on any speculation of this happening to BBSN I'm calling x2 - x3 minimum on the SP at least on a takeover RNS. Then again, on a decent set of results next year - the same could be said with out a takeover.
Hope you get to your target - good opportunity for buying ATM, maybe a slight fall from here but nothing that would put me off from buying them all now tbh - just penny pinching haha.
Tbh Geeforce, I shouldn't have sold any stake on the spike so I take that on board - was just fed up of seeing the SP pumpers move in only to return it to where it started. Any news like Tencent is amazing, but does not factor into anything of value (yet.)
It might sound a bit out of order, but re; the guys that came on to the board a few weeks back sounding off about how much research they had done in the space of 20 mins of the spike and telling everything this was going stellar when in fact they knew little of how BBSN works from a fundamental and technical view point then more fool them. I'm not a big fan of the rainbow chasers, and lesser so of the ones that bring in the rainbow chasers to lose money.
It was an opportunity that was hard to pass up to bank some profit and then put it all back in on this dip on the back of their naivety. I doubt I was the only one doing this across the board, but i'm probably the only one that will admit to it.
I imagine that Bison have felt the long arm of the FCA again for the second time in as many months, but given the MCAP this is prime as a pump and dump stock and moves quickly on positive news. That will continue, no doubt - until as you say the fundamentals become reality. I truly do believe the mid to high ones will be a thing of the past in months to come, but only on the back of something quantifiable. For me, that's the year end. Who know's what will happen before then though. The sooner it finds a new floor the better for everyone that's long term.
Nice buy cmin! Here's to a plentiful Autumn/Winter :)
Btw, that 59,584 a few mins ago is mine.Another 100k to come if this goes to 1.60 and another 200k if it goes to 1.50
now that the rampathon is over from the many who have conveniently vanished in to the night - here's the new floor. Almost the same as the old floor. Apparently this would never happen again, and yet it only took a week and a bit...
Warned and warned again against the fly by nighters that pop up every time this share spikes, so now;
Happy buying.
Usual slow Friday? Looks quiet across the board again.
Back in the Tubular Labs Top 10 again at No. 9 after last months dismal drop. 2,919,472,614 Facebook views for August, but still only circa half of it's peak back in May.
