George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
...it's just that the June tubular results have 'landed' - despite us already knowing about them last week haha. The wider market that don't reside on this board have just caught up, hence the drop. Big over reaction though, still top 10 after all!
Agreed. Still throttled by the MM's. I doubt they are going to release it until the interims are published which makes me think there is something going on behind the scenes that is positive. Top up time ahead of some good news for those in the know?
..i expect some good news in the next couple of weeks re; the July interim. Having looked at the last year end statement from March, I believe that despite being only half way through the financial that profitability has already been achieved. By how much - nigh on impossible to say. How will this affect the SP? Again, who knows. Perhaps it will be one almighty spike again followed by a period of adjustment, at which point there is an actual level by which we can judge BBSN on through the months/years .
Not sure who was asking the other day about how BB makes it's money on channels, so I've included this from today's release;
"Brave Bison makes it simple for content owners, creators, brands, publishers and platforms to unlock the value of online video, whether on a licensed, ad-funded, direct to consumer or paid placement basis."
Good day, straight from the open!
Another tick up on the back of no news, two days in a row. Which means... there is news that us regular traders aren't privvy too (yet). Early interim drop is my guess.
Agreed Bonks. Apologies for the mud slinging - it doesn't do anything for the board. I tried the filter option and that didn't work, now i'll try the ignore method.
Onwards and upwards. Keep bashing that 3p.
I disagree that dribbles is a multi ID poster. He strikes me as the sort that would upvote his own comments across 20 accounts to add credibility. The most thumbs up I've seen on his posts is one, and i think that was either sarcasm or out of sheer confusion with his flowery use of strong buy/strong sell in the same paragraph. However, I am confused too having read his comments from today against the historical ones over the past eight or so months on just how terrible this share is.
How poor the copper grade is, how the management is weak, how it's too deep, too shallow, on the dark side of the moon and only accessible via the machine from the film 'The Core'. Where can we get some unobtanium from duster to make this project a reality I ask? Do provide your expertise to solve this one.
It really is disingenuous to any newcomer to this share having you lambast it non stop. As much as anyone on here says that these boards don't influence decision - I believe that they do to an extent. Thankfully, anyone that has been here more than a few months can spot horse**** before they step in it.
162 nailed you to the wall recently with the year end figures, and no apology came forth when you were proved wrong. Seems to be a repeat pattern.
1.50 is looking good for the time being. Interims are very close now, and if you take in to account the overdraft, plus CEO comments regarding profitability then there should be a positive update to stir things up as you have mentioned. Hopefully this is just the MM's rattling the cage a little in preparation for a solid rise.
If they do announce profitability this year then expect it to be a good one. It will be the first profit they have recorded for some time..
In time they will. There are projects on the cards at the mo that we don’t and won’t know about.
Only last week Kate Burns joined as non exec direc. AOL, Buzzfeed and Google history. Caroline Troman in APAC - AOL, Microsoft. Then there is the leading lady, Claire Hungate - Time Warner.
It’s understandable that peeps are concerned about staff turnover, but Claire has been tasked with turning the business around and part of this is bringing in a quality team. I have no doubts that there will be more names on board in the future.
Well, whatever happens - one of us will be right in around 2-3 weeks time from now and any monetisation issues will be settled then. During that time i’m averaging out where possible. Down from 2.1ish to 1.8 now and will bring this down further pre July results.
It is a drop, but a recoverable one. The top ones inc. bb are still clustered toghether, but 1st place is looking difficult to achieve for the time being. Might take 3 or 4 months of solid growth to get there now. Next best shot at news is the interim to get things moving north. Depending on how impressive the results are, tubular might not matter that much for the time being.
It's not great news, but the board is still closely packed together so there is a good shot that they will get back to 2nd or 3rd again in July. News is coming - July interims soon.If what we are lead to believe is achieved then it should lead to a positive re rate given Claire's announcements about profitability etc. Not that anything in this game is for certain though..
Yeah, although it says May (2nd place) - it's actually June (7th place);

From the link above; "2018-06" which I changed manually from "2018-05". It looks like Tubular are getting ready to release this today or soon but let slip on the figures. If you check the historical rankings then you will also see the June figures on there too.
Just happened to notice it today as there was a down slide to the historical chart which looked odd. When I hovered over it, the June figures were on there pre release.
Yup. Still good numbers, and still in the top 10.
Although the June results aren't official yet - check the +/- historical charts for each of the leaders.
The board is still on May, but the results for June can clearly be seen if you hover over the historical data. It shows a drop to 7th place for BB. With a little more jiggery pokery, here is the June leaderboard;

Even the filter button doesn’t stop your ramblings does it? If I get logged out, there you are talking chuff again. Is the cu grade enough to push this over 3p? Well, if you can’t fathom that out yet then why bother posting. As for pi’s here buying a boat in 2018 or 2019. I already have one. Looks mega impressive from a distance, and then you get close and it looks more like a 9ft kayak. When mtr brings home the bacon I might upgrade to a 10ft one in celebration.
Thanks Mozax & Neo. Appreciate the insight in to the charts. I get the whole self fulfilling prophecy, and it was sure due an uptick but it looks like there was a bit of a leaky valve yesterday to have it climb that high prior to the actual RNS and lo and behold this morning, news.
With a spread like that, I can't help but think that something more is on the horizon too. Here's to the reversal!
I'd be interested to see where in the technical analysis. Can you point it out (and I'm not being sarcastic, I would like to know!). I see the MACD reversal starting and if it continues it will cross paths which is good, I see the fall and rise channels and improving volume etc but it seems like a big jump on the back of nothing. The last time I saw a jump like that it was at least on the back of the May tubular results?
I'm inclined to agree with you to an extent. Certainly it's pumped in the respect of the bandwagon jumpers/day traders have got in on this and let it fly higher than it should, but the volume has been very unusual. Lots of buys, and some rather large ones too all clustered in the afternoon. The last few weeks on here have given ample & even better opportunity for buy in so why now?
Has something leaked pending the interim and the boot filling has commenced? Certainly something is afoot. Perhaps it is just a case of market pick up pending the interims and nothing more but seems like there is more to it than that imho.
Given yesterdays crossed words and comments re; the low post count new ID's bashing the share, I ask again - does this rise not seem mighty unusual and conveniently well timed?
