INPEX Receives Approval for Revised Plan of Development for Abadi LNG Project, Masela Block, Indonesia
Santos has committed to a new pipeline to Darwin, for Barossa and ENI Evans Shoal, Abadi sits just above both
Woodside and Santos in merger talks, Woodside has MOU with Japan JBIC bank to finance new ventures, this government investment bank also stated, Japanese companies available to assist Woodside (inpex etc)
Inpex in charge of the only pipeline left pumping into Darwin, from the Ichthys 12 tcf LNG project, which is dominated by Japanese companies. Field off North West Australia
Ichthys LNG is ranked among the most significant oil and gas projects in the world. The energy development is a joint venture between INPEX group companies (the Operator), major partner TotalEnergies, and the Australian subsidiaries of CPC Corporation Taiwan, Tokyo Gas(Japan), Osaka Gas(Japan), Kansai Electric Power(Japan), JERA (Japan) and Toho Gas Nagoya, Japan.
Are Woodside now looking to merge with Santos, to dominate it all with Japan? and head China off at the pass. With Santos and JV partners ENI, holding all the known gas primed acreage of area R (wider Bayu license) and area P which links the Greater Sunrise and Chuditch licenses?
