We announced after looking at several plans, it had been decided FPSO was to be our plan, shortly after on the 9th September the Government announced, it had initiated new studies for the Sunrise HUB - Beaco, that would involve , Sunrise , Kelp (also idle 14.5 tcf monster no operator/license att) and CHUDITCH, all 3 to be a coordinated development and all 3 to feed Beaco on becoming operational.

Similar to many many meetings over the years, the industry side say.......... then TL give a different version, so you can see why the Majors and Tier1 players have remained on the fence and await something SOLID, like Sunrise being resolved after 21 years of TALKING.........🙄

The two Indonesian companies doing all the Metinaro studies completed October, handing all data over to TG, who with other partners have been compiling FEED plans, for submission to the Ministry

Ministry last year announced FID Final Investment Decision for Metinaro, expected Q4 2023, so its overdue, could this be what prompted TG to take more of Chuditch and pay its way, to make sure, it comes online with its other project plans🤔

As for Boil, they are not an oiler, they are an investor in early stage assets, have zero interest in production, as ceo Andy said in the presentation, both Dunrobin (200mbo 66 to Boil also appraisal not wildcat) and Chuditch FOR SALE at the right price.

In the case of Chuditch we do not even need to drill, if things open up, PRODUCTION PATH approval or one will finally exist after 20+ years of being talked about, will be more than enough, to bring that long and elusive JV or sale partner onboard (Maj/Tier1 not other minnows) BOD have said in JV talks since Autumn 2021, all remain sitting on the fence, due to the local politics and bad history with TL leadership.

So for any newbie, reading and asking the question why all the chat about Sunrise, its because it has been at the heart of it all (discovered 1974) a resolution to it and the Industry know, they will have a home for production, even if it is still a wait until 2030 TL shores.

Timor has never been the strong referee, it has for 20 years+ had a single agenda, our way or the highway, it has noble roots their original plans for Sunrise/Beaco utter garbage , so no one took it on, including China BRI, the Gusmao/Horta vision has always been, the Island gets ALL of its oil (Bettano) and gas (Beaco never built) with mass local employment , not foreigners a plan they have been resolute on. Our Sundagas (pre boil days) helped build from the ground and to this day still provide industry training. TG and ANPM moving from 3 or 4 each , to now have staff of hundreds each, with still no industry to speak of, it has to happen for them soon, having brought the country to the brink of bankruptcy.

They have two Gas/lng Projects, all know about Sunrise HUB/Beaco but that is way in the distance at least 2030 last tenders, the 2nd is Metinaro near the capital all fuels , split away from the original South Coast beaco planned set up.

Chuditch via SG/fpso plan is the only other thing that is in their portfolio, to drill (Q4 2024) and transport gas , to the P.I.T. at Metinaro which includes the Gas/LNG Imports facility and 90 day tank farm, which is to provide all domestic supply to 3 being converted to gas power stations (currently diesel and unreliable stock issues) that conversion is planned for all 3 to be completed 2025/26 (Parliament speech)

Remember Chuditch is not a wildcat, its is appraisal to production, Shell placed a COS of 100% on another drill at Chuditch, after analysis the planned location of CH-2 , is expected to be 3 - 5 times thicker reservoir v ch-1. discovery well

If all else fails a JV of SG/Boil 40% and TG 60% with another 20% going to TG who can pay for both planned wells sharing the spoils with a JV within the JV structure with PVD , or just slap them 20% and field operator.

Sunrise, was Shell, Woodside building the refinery at Darwin, Conoco Phillips to build the pipeline (as it did Bayu Undan) and a JV within the JV Shell/Conoco for the majority of production offtake to South West USA states already signed up.

Hence the preference for one of the other all singing all dancing groups moving in, for Andy's the RIGHT PRICE sale.

Strategic on our part also Jarv, we loose 15% of the asset but gain a now contributing partner and £1m return of back costs. As posted the other day, also hoping that TG increase is a back up plan, if one of the consortiums like Santos/ENI/Korea SK do not move in, TG now have an MOU which it is stated, they plan to increase the scope of with PVD, Petro Vietnam DRILLING, TG on the cusp of being able to partner up with PVD and do their own on/offshore drills.

Still hoping for the above or the Japanese/INPEX etc/Woodside or even CNOOC/China move on us BUT, it would appear

Guesswork algorithm based on mid, rehash real lse trades and all above mid buy (never the case) all below mid sell (ditto) and all exactly on mid, delayed trades or now seen outside of ITS range, chokes UNKNOWN. Yes, a lot closer to some value being placed on our unloved gas, than 4 years ago, when we started with Shells figures of over 5 tcf Chuditch, Wombat and Bilby as they called the 3 main pockets around the CH1 discovery drill, with lots more leads on their full license seismic, probably due to the impasse, Boil snail paced 800 sq km of old 3d over nearly two years and have progressed as far as 3.5 tcf on a portion of the license, while Mark predecessor to Meg at Woodside re run their entire 3,200 sq km in 12 hours of a single day, with AWS support, now available to the industry, equiv of a stack of laptops 4.2km high as he put it but would now save them 6 months to 2 years on various project developments.

They really have no choice, IMF and other loans hang in the balance, budgets set for cutting year on year to extend the life of the depleting Island fund to beyond 2030 (2034 max WITH cuts) They can not wait for Beaco at least 2030 last provisional tenders put out.

They have been warned, not to use the fund for our sector and uphold their end of project contributions for other sector growth project loans.

Hence the massive air miles put in by Horta and Gusmao, desperate for China and others to fund development, as Australia remains on the fence, $12 - $18 Billion required for Sun/Hub/Beaco, that would wipe out their fund, which provides 85-95% of the annual budget most years, so zip chance of doing it themselves.

Could have all been different if they had let Shell and Conoco Phillips and (Exxon) Mobil carry out their plans, that fund would be over 100 Billion with Sunrise , Chuditch and the Mobil 1998 Kelp 14.5 tcf which also sits idle, all drained and funding the Island with massive budget rises for 20 years.

Sunrise 1974 , Chuditch and Kelp 1998 , around 25-30 tcf with upside, have waited WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY to long.

Timor Gap is the Timor Leste National Oil Company (NOC) its does up , down and mid stream project management and assistance BUT recently got in bed with what we desperately need a REAL offshore operator/driller, which TG is not, its deal with Petro Vietnam Drilling PVD, could be the missing link, their JV to Timor Sea assets on/offshore in the future, why not start with Q4 drill Chuditch for their domestic supply security per Parliament plan for Metinaro PIT by 2025/26 , Sunrise/HUB/Beaco at least 2030

The PIT facilities up on the North Coast near capital Dili, split from original plan for all at Beaco, now two very different projects, Metinaro 5 years earlier, perfect for early Chuditch dev and FPSO 1-2 wells initial plan.
