that has been one of the very long points of contention, TL have done 3 previous sets of studies, TELLING the world, the results of which make Beaco a very compelling competitive financial case, THEN not released any of the actual figures/details, WHY ? probably as in the first phase, it would not be, getting it all built and established ready for flows.

Once done, it should be , their own 2021 studies , which included using Chuditch for Beaco alongside Sunrise and Kelp (10.5 - 14.5 TCF Mobil 1998 disc) all 3 co-ordinated development to feed a multi string LNG facility from the start, via the now not just Sunrise pipeline but pipeline HUB.

When they threw that little nugget out there, Boil/SG had only recently decided , after reviewing many options, had decided on FPSO.

So you can see why, most of the Industry stays away pending clarity and developments. All to often contradicted what an industry player or those in a meeting have reported, hence the real need to see OTHERS saying ,will/are/progress etc.

Can be done, if they did go that route, the pipeline required for just TL Domestic would be much smaller gauge and easier to lay across the 2600-3500m deep trench, Conoco Phillips original plan for Bayu Undan was to go to the Bettano/Nararbora area on TL across the trench , held below shipping by large concrete blocks and wires, as the seabed seismic and expected to move around 4m during its production life. Shareholders voted it down, due to excessive additional costs and aftercare.

That was in 1997/98, materials and composites have moved on a lot since way back then. 🤔
