Paddy. , this is not a rise ... What they did is consolidated, which means that for every 50 shares you owned, you now have 1. So the value is old share SP x 50. Accordingly the share should be 5000% up .. Buts it's currently 4871% up .. So actually marginally down n the day ... Hope that explains

If you are mentally deranged, have a bet to lose as much money as possible, are a rich kid on dope, or are just plain stupid. For a share to fly high without a pilot, is a sure fire way of losing your investment (As all those who were buying in on the BS being spouted as it passed a penny. Those ramping on this board are only desperately trying to get you to buy, get the price turned arround, to get a price that THEY can sell at - to recover their loss at your expense

I feel your sentiment No news that I can find - and we have TWICE fallen (Today makes third time) on the Xsense element - yet the business model without Xsense is alone worthy the current SP So I am at a loss But - If it keeps falling, will look to average down (If it took a hit to say 80) Otherwise will hold for the year/2 years)

hi Megabux I did not have a change of heart, and my buy order still stands with HL for £5000 at 37.5 If I never get it, its a shame - but if I do - great. I agree the company looks good with good potential - just looks BETTER at a lower entry point for me. Good luck to all in this Regards H

I am sorry if I have offended you, and in answer to your question, no I am not a millionaire, and no I did not hold prior to last contract ( wish I had) and if had I would Not have sold, as I believe that the company has strong potential. If you had read the earlier reply, it was in regards to a fellow investor who thought that they had missed the boat. However if you look at the SP charts for the last year, you will see that this stock has re rated upwards three times on news. However, this particular news was released to paper, as it was Sunday paper announcing the news and not RSN. I therefore imply stated that the extent of the spike AND notably the gap up before opening, was a dangerous entry, and that the next contract/ s. ( and yes I believe there will be more) would be a few weeks away... And therefore, just as I stated, the SP would slowly decline but not back to prior news, but somewhere in the middle. I therefore placed an order on news release for 37.5. Maybe iwillget them, and maybe I will regret them,and maybe I will miss them while all holders are celebrating on the moon. This is AIM, this is opinion, and all to their own Sorry you don't like my thoughts but looking at liquidity today and WINS at top of ask, would seem to indicate my thoughts may well be vindicated in time. I'm happy to wait a couple of weeks when isee a share with potential, as it end to hold long term, so why not give yourself a starting push. Only my opinions of course

you were not too late in fact if you had got in when your hubby tipped you ( that is Sunday) the inside information was out as the newspaper effectively TOLD you that the company was going to release news of their contracts the next day ... Which they did. The market makers also read the papers, also read the announcements and new that there would be a huge number of buyers ( which there were). Subsequently, the market makers opened the market up at near 44 ... All the buyers said buy..it's already up ( you did not so good) and later in the dy the price DROPPED substantially, where you then could have bought. If a paper is telling you news that only the company should know and release, then for sure the news is out there, and will be factored in by those in the know. I believe that this is an excellent company, with excellent growth potential. I also believe that we will see a entry position become available at 36 / 37 realistically in the next two weeks once the newspaper tipsters have moved on, which would be an excellent buy level for a long term hold. It's only my position.. Watching and waiting for now.

Bank of America today covered Atmel, and has raised it's targets to $11 per share, with a 38percent upside. Given our connections with Atmel let's hope this will indicate good news on the horizon.
