......going back to the SP guys, what are peoples views on today and next week as to where we could likely see this heading?

Thank you for your kind words. Yes choices definitely; I've bought and sold at wrong times since November. Buying high and selling low ; all done in a panic as not to miss out on the way up and selling too easily when low to limit losses. I am a Novice and when( Overall holdings ) I break even at 225, I'll find another hobby and pay back 3 years worth of ISA allowances back into my mortgage, from where I raised monies to partake in IAG.

....like a fool bought more, £20k worth at 208 yesterday ... oh dear another £1k loss to add to my overall IAG losses since November and bad decisions of coming in and out panics .... GLA

So what's your prediction here with SP of IAG short term ( next few days ) and next few weeks/months?

My trading platform reclaims some of the Spanish tax and credits my account but not all of it.
Really strange, as some days I rack up tax with IAG of £200-£300 and sometimes its refunded back to my account the next day but not always. I'm still owed roughly 3 or 4 days worth since January that they haven't claimed back for me. I've contacted them and they have said that I need to claim this back myself from the Spanish authorities ?
All very strange.

Hi... yes, my trading platform have been applying 0.2% which has now mounted up in my case of going in and coming out so often with large trades ( 10k shares at a time )

Thanks for that ; I think I've realised why, is it a German company. I've been doing a lot of in's and outs in IAG which large trades and the Spanish tax 0.2% soon mounts up.

Thank for that ; just took your advice and bought a small amount. No stamp duty was charged ?

Your kind words /advice is much appreciated. Day trading is so tempting when each 1p up or down is like £200 up or down and for me this was fogging my thoughts and I've ended up making wrong decisions on the peaks and throughs. Trigger happy is not always good. I've bought in at 201 today.
Good luck to you towards your retirement fund. Hope we all win on this eventually.
