I am heavily invested here and am chasing my break even of 177 ( having averaged down from 200 ) ; wondering is this the rise before the almighty dump out over the next few days ? Really not sure whether to hold or come out to see if goes back to 127 etc?

Remember 2 weeks ago ; we both and a few others were sitting on big paper losses and I nearly bailed out at -£20K losses to prevent further damage but a couple of nice guys said, hold on ... losses down to -£9k now. Break even and I am out ,,, this gambling is not for me ... lesson learnt .. my break even is £2.10 now.

I know exactly what you mean ; I'm break even at 218 also and am sitting on -£17k deficit ; I am a novice unlike some on here and just started all this madness gambling to beat the lockdown boredom and make some cash on a renewed post pandemic travel . I just want to break even and get out. A few weeks ago, whilst at -£9k I pulled out but saw a brief recovery and went back in ... what a mistake. We just need to hang in there buddy. Good luck.

I agree and was thinking the same thing ; at 2.18 I was going to sell at a loss ( my original purchase was 2.25 ) and convinced me not to ( my bad as I now I have learnt that whatever is on the board is just advise, and I should do what my gut tells me ).
I'm a novice and he or she said on no account to sell and become a LTH ; I am now sitting on £11k down on IAG currently.

Hi Guys ; the Platform I use has been charging me Spanish Tax from mid- Feb and as a tried my novice hand at day trading, my Spanish Tax amounts since Feb are in the region of £4k .... so along with the **** -up's on day trading ... I am a a total IAG loss of £6k since turn of the year.

Yes, its a strange one that all the travel stocks holding up fairly well considering the hysteria over the weekend regarding Portugal / general pandemic scaremongering threatening quick open up soon

Keep the faith .... I have £40k worth too and need 215 to break even ... it was 225 break even but some day trading has pulled the average down, although it was day trading that made my SP average for break even to shoot up to 225 ; so like you I am just going to leave alone and wait.

mmm ; dilemma ...do you think the Friday afternoon profit takers will be out in force today ? Odd Friday's I've noticed this hasn't happened recently and its continued to rise ??
