The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Bobbins ... I was averaging 1.77 as break even ... I sold at 1.70 afew weeks ago at overall -£3k loss. But then with talk of 2.20 on here I bought back in and now back to-£15k overall ... I wish I had stayed out and given up this gambling. I have no option but to hold till we get to 1.70-1.80.
I am no expert but sound to me that when things settle the markets will fly and more importantly IAG ... for now i've just stayed put in and not risked coming out to miss the almighty spike that may happen at some point ... not sure if anyone else thinks that ?
mmmmm, not sure ... need to b/e soon as career break coming to an end and won't be able to gamble after as will be back to work ...
A sudden slight buy in now going on .... I think I will risk it and stay in .... may open good on Monday for no apparent reason to me as does sometimes ....
oh sugar ...decisions decisions ... which can be so wrong and costly .... I think that I will risk it ... if it sinks, it will recover in time I guess .... as long as I break even after 1 year of boredom busting by doing this gambling whilst taking a career break ...
I think I am going to leave it in ; this share sometimes does opposite to what is expected ... I call it gambling ( as not experienced ) so going to gamble and leave in .... I need 177 for b/e which I had and should have got out but now on about -£4k at caurrent SP
I was a LTH and am (sort of still ) but tend to come out sometimes overnight / at weekends and have guessed right sometimes and others wrong ( and I do mean guess as not experienced as some of you guys ) but this weekend to stay in or out is a hard one to call ... as could sink like monday opening SP or could even spike as an opening SP?
Decisions decisions .....
Woody, Thank you .... learning every day, mainly the hard way ... but at least back in and fingers crossed. I guess the thrill to trade a bit during volatile periods is very tempting but dangerous unless your experienced as you say.
Rob,
Back in at 173 .... lost out on growth between 165-173 but hey ho; lesson learnt not to try and day trade in between trying to guess the dips and peaks and just simply leave as a LTH ... my b/e is now 185.
Good luck all
Rob,
I've been in since Nov'20 and my average was 220 but managed to get to 177 .... got to 165 on Tuesday and thought I'd sell to buy in again at 157 and it shot up since .... I could have broke even today but am still on -£5k :-(
AC777 ... i have done plenty of them and maybe lost out along the way, and not to mention fee's and tax losses adding to my overall £8k deficit at the mo. Break even is 190 for me but was trying to lower this .. it's too risky isn't it to day trade.
