His links with both Merck and Scancell can’t be disputed…. But you would think that there would be more of a market reaction if there was something behind it ? Why would Merck need to put someone on the advisory board….all the trial info is in the public domain 🤔

Crusty, if Genmab buy out Scancell ..or just the platform then they would save on milestone payments so I think a buy out is a strong financial advantage for them🤔

Ripley…but it’s hope over experience…you never know when the red dot will arrive. Over the years I agree the SP is pretty static but the company has evolved both on the clinical and managerial front.

I thought that we would have had a stronger reaction to the SP following this news…although known…it’s now official. Onwards and upwards 😀

The SP will reveal what’s going on…everything leaks. Perhaps a milestone payment could bridge the funding gap to NAsdaq ?

Scancell have always been very vague and non commitial regarding Nasdaq ….so why hint so strongly at it in a resignation RNS 🤔

A Good recovery over the last few weeks and as we get near to production the SP should follow a similar pattern to Navitas . Some of my new ISA allowance will be going into RKH once again. If possible I would have invested directly into Navitas when they first got involved with RKH ( especially as they had the “insurance “ of their Gulf of America investment with Beacon) but now, potentially, RKH may just have the greater SP potential.

Lemmy, I respect your optimism but as a LTH my rose tinted glasses fell off years ago. I am in wonder at the drugs Scancell have developed , they are simply amazing and lifesaving indeed, but I’m beaten down by the fundraising rounds and lack of significant upfront deals. Why has a deal failed to materialise ? Is it the calibre of management …this has been strengthened and Redmile / Vulps must be the over watch ..or is it the lack of interest in the pipeline? I fail to see why a major pharmaceutical company with deep pockets would not bite the hand off Scancell. I can only conclude Scancell have a strategy to - go it alone - and we are facing a fundraising very soon. Even if we get a milestone payment from Genmab it certainly won’t cover the phase 3 trail . Best option is a partnership deal / offer Redmile / Vulps can’t refuse and they decide to go for jam today .

A lot of logic behind selling off this division …and Genmab would certainly fit hand in glove.
