CrustyP, Scancell has a cash runway until the latter half of this year. They must sort funding at least six months prior and it would be disadvantage to negotiate deals with the bank balance running low.

Unless we get the ever promised “non dilutive funding” I can hear the can rattling pretty soon 🤨

Looking like news will be in Q2 now. What will come first? Milestone payment, regulatory approval , Modi update or a fundraise?

…. the SP continues to be range bound and we are entering Q2 in a few days. Finances soon need to be sorted unless we get the potential milestone payment or the ever elusive deal .

Scancell is so undervalued we are at the mercy of Redmile / Vulps when it comes down to any potential offer. It’s all about what they would find acceptable …thankfully they have been extremely supportive of Scancell . So many unknowns…were Redmile behind the Gmab spinoff to achieve maximum value? Would they drive for a Nasdaq listing? Will they support another funding round…milestone payments due ?

Another example of early stage companies being snapped up yet some on here believe the bar is set higher for Scancell and we need to get - MHRA phase 3 trial approval ..EMA approval ..and the FDA say Yes or No to ‘Breakthrough Therapy’ status prior to any possible bid . I don’t get it…if a pharma wants any of our pipeline …or the whole company…they would make a bid .

Agreed Sidneyboz, but only if a major wants to make an offer and with superiority over “standard of care” it’s incredibly difficult to understand why an offer hasn’t been made !! Unfortunately all we continue to get from management is the promise of non dilutive funding year after year. It does seam full steam ahead for phase 111 trial this year for scope… so perhaps they will finally deliver 🤞

Look at IMM …they kept on indicating a deal was imminent late 2025 early 2026 and that they had interest from a top ten pharmaceutical company… but they have failed to deliver and their shareholders were diluted once again this week with fundraising .

What direction are our management going to take us? Similar mood music from both management teams so far and reflected in our continued miserable share price. We need more than promises to get the share price moving and unfortunately despite the amazing results we have yet to land the transformative deal.

Berm, how ironic if British Anglo Tobacco sponsored a Scancell trial for lung cancer 🤣 . Biggest population still smoking are the Chinese and they have some amazing biotech companies.

It’s a reasonable question though and at some point it will have to be answered …otherwise how can you place a value on the company ? I know we plan to scale up and expand to other countries.

Why are we doing a SPAC…. Would it be less hassle simply to list as a stand alone entity ? Or would the timeframe be longer ?

Ray, yes , we have signed 2 agreements but it was “buy one get one free” as far as Genmab were concerned .A max payment set even if both were commercialised .

After the first agreement way back in 2022 we still needed to fundraise …so although the small upfront payments have helped to keep the lights on…. we still haven’t had the mega deal we are all invested for and unless we receive a milestone payment soon from Genmab it’s another fundraising around the corner. So we need a BLOCKBUSTER deal asap from the Scope trial. Management say we have interested parties…. so hopefully a 7 am red dot with a decent deal will arrive soon.

…but why are we down on the ASX ands in the UK surely we should be up ☹️

Al these companies securing deals….and at far earlier stages than our products .

…ever waiting for the red dot .. time is ticking along but I think we should have no expectations of any rise until we get a deal for something across the line. We are range bound 12-14 pence.
