Unfortunately Scancell are very small fry, even with the support of Redmile... large pharma is corrupt second only to oil companies....just look at the lobby companies working for pharma in the USA and the Moderna contract with the UK government. Scancell will need all the luck we can muster to rise above this corruption....

Chester, yes,polite conversation is a good thing indeed ! The iSCIB date is due Q1 2025 ...so not long then , then we have Moditope to look forward to 😀. Whatever happens as long as the data is positive we can all sit back and await to see what happens. We all have different time scales and exit prices...I'm so looking forward to (hopefully)gifting my profits to my family to secure a good future. Luckily all my Scancell shares are held in ISAs .

Chester, I respectfully disagree, I don't see a Registation trial as a requirement pre a bid . Large pharmas will act on initial trial results...they can extrapolate how it will play out...so why wait for a potential rival to swoop and take the prize. Using this argument...I'm surprised we haven't been snapped up already !!

Stakis, all we officially know is expected results are Q4 2024 for Scib and Q1 2025 for iScib + this is from Scancell. Some have mused that they may release both results at the same time as iScib is recruiting faster ??

Chester tends to post from time to time terrific updates of anticipated results. Guess until the red arrives it is all irrelevant... but after decades of waiting we really are in the final furlong and we will all be tearing up our bet slips or most likely celebrating 😊

Rat, why do you think the 500k was dropped into the market so late in the day and not broken up and dripped fed during the day. Guess the MMs know they can sell them easily tomorrow !

Any offers have to be reported via an RNS if the offer is official.

Everything then depends if the offer is accepted by the Board or rejected. If rejected , and the party wants to pursue the bid.. they can come back with another offer (sometimes the Board will give guidance to the offer that would be acceptable) or launch a hostile bid direct to shareholders. In this instance any bid would be dead in the water without the "consent" of Redmile and Vulps to a lesser degree. I believe that there's a strict time frame involved.

Well , we were rangebound @around 22-24 for ages and Scancell have progressed in bounds since those days. Personally, I think we will receive a bid for the whole company at X amount. Those with more experience than myself say the figure offered will be based on a standard industry "formula " . The SP at the time of the offer will determine the premium ....guess the greater the premium the more likely Redmile etc would be tempted accept??? However, I'm sure Redmile would protect their interest and reject any offer that they consider derisory .... whatever the premium at the time.

I remember back in the days a company called British Biotec....they soared in value based on hype and potential alone... everything is possible 😀

If you have been following this Scancell page... you will know that... at my own confession...i am the "Chief moaner" and get frustrated 🤣🤣

Regarding the 50p target.. Once again, folks know that this is a personal target as I have held for over a decade now and I'm unfortunately time limited ☹️ and need an exit.

I have often said when i mention this personal target of 50p I expect Scancell to achieve a SP well beyond this and I wish all LTH s achieve a higher exit price.

So...hopefully an increase tomorrow towards my 50p 😀
