Our country has been totally ruined by every form and type of government over the past 50 years. . When schools resort to selling paying fields and hospices close due to funding... its a sad reflection on what the "government " ( either Conservative or Labour) see as a priority 😕

To get back on topic....Q4 starts tomorrow... will it be the blockbuster we are all expecting 🙏🙏

In my area all if not most of the state schools sold off their playing fields. Our local private school offers their sports fields to the state sector free of charge. In the summer the state schools run their football academies at the private school .... again ...free of charge. As a result of the VAT imposition the private school is now selling off the fields to offset the increase in fees. EVERY CHILD, state and private will suffer 😔

Thanks Johnny, it always seams that Calculus are the weakest link . I wonder if the recent buyer approached them for stock ? If so, then they obviously offered too little. Appears like 19 p was the ceiling for the buyer and that they acquired the quality desired. . did this roughly equal the disposal from Calculus? Guess it will be quiet now until the SCOPE results are published.

I'm in the camp that believe results will be out once 27 /43 is reached. Not too long now.

Excellent point Konar - they could have moved the readout if not confident of the Q4 timeline, far better to have done this yesterday than nearer... or at the AGM . The fact that they have kept to Q4 is positive.

Well, I was wrong re a fundraising. The results, forward looking statements....and the comments at the investors presentation... all appear to point to non dilutive funding . So fingers crossed for a deal or milestone payment 😀

Paul, well perhaps a sensible solution would be to do what Scancell did last year ... AGM ....and the very next day a placing. If Scancell did this ASAP then they can cash raise prior to officially knowing the trial results . It would result in securing the financial future and strengthen the negotiating position should an offer be made. If the ORR is not as expected the SP will be sub 10p again , a continued ( best estimate ) cash burn of 1m per month and an investor pool reluctant to fund. . Im convinced a placing is heading our way post AGM.

Another tick down, I reckon those in the know expect a placing next week ...not against it... but at what price??? At least Scancell will have a strong financial hand if / when negotiating potential deals.

Matt, another ( and I have held that long already) 5-10 years would be impossible for me to achieve...sadly. I need to be out ASAP... hence my personal 50p target and frustration at days like today.

Unless Scancell get a partner willing to fund the next stage it will .. once again ...mean more dilution for LTHs and a stagnant sp. Let's not forget Redmile..they are the tail that wags the dog in this case. Would they fund Scancell again and what is their timeline or Nasdaq ambitions ?? . These are the unknowns . The combination of Scancell and Redmile have matured the Scib vaccine and the Immunobody platform to the point of sale. Ideally, sell this platform and use the funds to develop Moditope and the mAbs. Personally , I am confident that the SCOPE results will meet / exceed expectations and early Moditope results will be very promising... and don't forget we have the unknown pharma declaring in January 2025. So my expectation is to be out by April 2025. I believe that there is the potential momentum to get us to my personal 50 p target price between now and April 25... but it will depend on the Registration trial funding being sorted through partnership or a sale . 🤞

Worse case scenario for me ...Scancell self funds via a fundraising and the clock will reset to zero and another 5 + years for those investors that have the luxury of both time and health on their side to reap the considerable rewards Scancell has the potential to achieve .

Matt, Panmure are Scancell’s agent so perhaps the cynical side of you is correct. If a bid / partnership doesn't transpire then Scancell will need a plan b and the market knows this.

Look at those trades , and some will still insist that its hard to build a large position buying on the open market.

Aim really sucks on days like this. Makes you wonder if the ORR (potential sucess) has already been priced in with the rise from 11 to 18p and the SP won't budge untill the funding for the Registration trial is sorted .....and the city is not currently betting on a partnership or bid.

Jamboian, I think you may well be correct unfortunately. Despite the brilliant RNS and Panmure's short term target of 23.5 p released today .....we fall in SP....all those 30k sells and the 300k. Any good news and someone is selling into the rise killing it off. Perhaps Moderna and the big boys are strangling innovation and competition to protect their interests. Nothing as corrupt as large pharma.
