Drac….i think the obvious reason is that they got away with the “mates rate” upfront payment due to the connection with Goodfellow..a paltry 5million, but as you say, nothing has progressed to the advantage of Sclp shareholders . As per today’s deal they see better opportunities elsewhere.

C11 , hope you are correct as SCLP now has less cash to keep the lights on. Scib may be an “off the shelf” vaccine…but to date it’s certainly been left “on the shelf” by the big pharmaceutical companies despite all the published evidence to date. You would think a pharma would have pounced well before now 😒

Hopefully a Chinese company will make a move as European/USA companies don’t seam interested other than the one and only deal with Genmab and the paultry upfront payment.

If SCLP go it alone with the next stage , taking Scib forward…existing shareholders like us will be diluted out of existence.

Perhaps the answer is for Phil et al with Redmile to break up Scancell into 3 companies, one for Moditope, the Gmabs and one for Scib. They could individually be floated on the Nasdaq ?? and it may just be the ticket to unlock the true value of Scancells pipeline which is certainly above 9 odd pence !! The UK biotech market under this government is dead and we should list in the USA.

Guys I tried to fund my Hargreaves Lansdown account today …the money transferred from my bank OK but hasn’t appeared in my HLaccount. When I called , HL I was told the money has been received , but due to an IT issue they are experiencing it can’t be allocated to my account. They apologised for not informing clients about this issue that they have been experiencing since this morning. Poor show !!
