Why are we suspended? Exactly no one knows , will it mean further dilution ? One thing is for sure is that VIY has not been good for investors in the past ...going forward its a gamble to give false hope without facts is misleading IMHO
VIY has lead a merry dance for many over the past years with many nursing losses Such talks of news around the corner is pure guess work and wishful thinking which folks need to consider When it happens especially with VIY then it can be believed, until then it's just speculation IMHO
Spot on question Magpie....the actions to not accept a 1 year lock yet accept a delist are contradictory. Unless they know that a relisting may occur in less than 1 year and so opted for this out of the two scenarios More to this than a delisting off Aim and something broader IMHO
There are a huge amount of shares in circulation, on a $120-160M assumption where could this share be valued?
Wow Merv..you're a bigger optimist than me.. :-))
I hear you, do you trully expect the sp to go from 2.00pds to 10.00pds ( ie x 5)...I would certainly have thought going from 4p to 20 ( ie x 5) was possible..... As much as I'm a glass is half full guy, 10.00 pds is ambitious, and then again to get to 1.00 pds back to the heady days we need to hit a 50.00pds price !!!
The share price will move at the end of month to 2.00pds with a corresponding consolidation of your shares by 50 to 1. So for every 100 shares you have now this will be 2 share in the near future. To move up from a 2.00pd sp to a 10.00sp will need a significant announcement.... This is why I think the smaller holder is impacted
There may be buying going on, however the reality is that the private holders have been severely hit with such a massive consolidation, the company has not done any favors to its private shareholders
"Do some more research on the catalyst and if you bought for a £1+ , but can sell for £2 do not be greedy ". Your quote above neglects to comment that peeps can sell at 2.00 pds but their holding has been reduced by 50. This means you dont realise any benefit just because the prices is not 2.00pds and not 4p As for a catalyst, a share of 2.00pds in this climate will find it extremely hard to get to 10.00 pds whereas a share as 4p can more easily reach 20p......this is the point
I struggle to see how the 50 to 1 consolidation is good for holders. A share a 4p moves more easily to 20p even with a large number of shares in circulation than a share moving from 2.00 pounds to 10 pounds. When our share are priced at 2.00 but shares we hold reduced to 1 for each 50 held, this is a share that for holders looking to at best break even it is a pipe dream. As a holder myself disappointed if anyone knows of reason to see it different I be delighted to read it.
Does this mean that if I hold 50 shares today then post consolidation I am left with 1 share but the prices assuming it is 4 p increases to £2.00
