Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
This is like watching paint dry... has anybody been in touch with MBO and asked where they are going? Have they released any forward looking prospects?
I would have thought all operatives and staff have signed strict NDC's to minimise news release, however a txt to family or friends can't be discounted....
For a trading firm to take the risk of a pssst, by the way news leak would pose massive risk I would have thought, with the penalties being severe. Greed takes no prisoners, but let's hope it's not the case.
Scot you are correct that Helium is a by - product of oil and gas extraction, and indeed a sought-after product. The production plant is relatively "basic" in its technology, and it could be potentially transported to the site in modular form ready for construction, as are the rigs and pump units already in use. The only downside I can see is transportation to the coast and collection by vessel for deep water shipping, as it would mean road transport. In its cryogenic state a transportable, containerised vessel holds a lot of Helium but whether amount available versus Co2 emmissions would satisfy the ecologists is another question. It is definitely a valuable asset that Pantheon will be actively exploring!

I think Jay has played a blinder with not taking last year's offer. He obviously had faith in his team and geological studies which is now starting to demonstrate the scale and potential of Alkaid 2. And why wouldn't he! The man is brimming with enthusiasm over this year's work as anticipation grows.

Thanks for the facts you put down. I've been curious as to where the oil goes when it leaves Valdez, and stumbled across this earlier. It may be old news so apologies, but interesting to see just how Conoco-Philips regard Willow, which will obviously share the same route as Pantheon's find. Perhaps CP may be considering PANR as a back-up, as not on fed land? They certainly don't seem too shy in spending the cash, if of course the article is truthful and factual...

Thanks Scot yes Norman Wells being the closest. TAPS running nowhere near full capacity and storage available in Valdez, soo....
Three majors being ExxonMobil, BP and Conoco-Philips seem to hold court on the system, so again presumably they would be forerunners in any bid for PANR's efforts, correct? The lighter viscosity that PANR say they can deliver is desirable for blending to improve flow rates, correct?
Who else would be in the frame for buying PANR's oil?
No doubt that PANR are holding a strong position, only growing in strength with positive results over the next few months.
Some may have read this, but I thought it interesting as a view from Alberta's oil sands production. I'm assuming that product from the Northern slopes would share the same network of pipes, and I believe as a higher quality would be combined with bitumous crude to speed up flow?

Do we think that any bids or offers might be muted for a while whilst the Democrats sort their house out? As we know uncle Joe hasn't been a great fan of encouraging Alaskan oil production, but dependant on global resource and what happens in Eastern Europe the US may take a different stance on pipelines and shipping?
When will somebody please poke this share with a sharp stick and wake it up? Waiting for some action is like watching grass grow.

It might help if you look into the fact that PANR are an exploratory company and not an oil producer. It has been suggested that PANR will run into production following this most recent drill, however the company is not focused on becoming a Exon or BP, and their strength is in the location on the Dalton Highway that allows transportation or the raw product to refinement. Previous drills not only by PANR but other exploratory companies may have been reliant on the deep winter freeze to access sites with equipment, and obviously there is only a short period of winter that can support the infrastructure to explore potential sites in the Alaskan wild.
I've tried to explain as best I can and I'm sure others will correct me which is fine, but I think you need to look at the backbone of your investment as you may well not thoroughly understand where you have put your money. All in my opinion.
Can somebody please give me a logical explanation as to why some people on another page seem to think PANR investors or punters don't like 88E,or what is happening there? Why, knowing the difference between them would somebody hold grudge or objection to their business or share price?
I don't get it....

You're telling the naughty kids to play up their own end as they've pinched your football....
I have invested in both companies over the last 5 years, and may well ride the hype-wagon of 88 in the future for a fast buck.
Feel free to invest or visit PANR on here. Lots of factual info gets placed on their bulletin board.
Such;
I don't understand what you mean when you say PANR investors (or punters, if you like) want to slate the 88 share unless they are bitter for being in the red. Both share a geological border of one particular territory, yet nobody seems to mention their other interests which are miles apart. They are two completely different companies, both listed on AIM doing a "similar" thing. I for one wish anybody who invests good fortune in their selection, which is their own choice however it does seem to me that 88's hype bandwagon does generate hysteria and possibly draw in people that are making poor decisions and *then* slating 88 for putting them in the red.
Perhaps there is an "internal" goal of one upmanship between them, but in my view that makes for healthy competition. Would either company wish the other failure? I doubt it.
Why on earth post such drivel? You sound like you are on your way to Wembley to a cup final supporting your local team. I'm not holding 88 but wished everybody good luck earlier this week irrespective of their other share holdings, as I held 88 for a number of years and know fully how frustrating the share can be. Everybody is here to make money, so what's the gripe?
