Why is this coming from solo and not the operator? Is it buried in the results somewhere? Looks like AEX is missing a separate report. Seems good news though. Would like to know what it actually means.

At this rate I'd prefer if they released on Monday. Not a fan of Friday announcements. If it's Friday after market close, may the good lord help us. Why would JB be in Hong Kong? NR might be there to join his Helium one guys at the 121 Conference, but he wouldn't need to be. JB would have no tie to that whatsoever. His contacts seem to be more mainland China anyway, if you recall that odd Chinese news story with him in it a couple years ago.

I think any news related to Kiliwani would be more focused on having a remediation plan agreed by TPDC and other parties, and hopefully actions have commenced. Whether this includes acquisition of a compressor, better insight into the well's compartments, or even some encouraging signs of life, it's TBC. I doubt there's been any magical return to high flow rates. The company could be much more bullish though about future production, all of which would be positive. Those are the kinds of things I'll be looking for.

Assuming results are released tomorrow, I don't think there'll be much in the report to cheer about. The more interesting bits will be if the company announces any sweeteners to make up for the fact that revenues essentially dried up in the 2nd half and have propbably written down much of KN1. That (those?) sweetener could be enough to give us a little bump in sp. In theory it should do as the bad news should already be in the sp, whereas any good news would be an upside surprise.

I said last week that I thought this sp is just waiting for an excuse to pop, and a silly tweet may have lit the fuse. I think it's been pushed down in recent weeks from nothing more than lack of newsflow + exciting Oil & Gas opportunities elsewhere that promise better near-term results, esp at $70/bbl! Hopefully some Comms and good news this week (ARA and operational update) will entice PIs to jump back in. Fingers crossed these gains hold.

That's the question I have for NR - whether licence contingent upon drill. I thought that's what trrime was referring to as well, though I'm still going to ask NR anyway.

Good to know. At the SOLO AGM a few yrs ago, when asked why the Kiliwani GSA was taking so long, NR gave the example that the then Energy Minister had sent the doc back because he wanted a comma inserted. That comma delayed the whole thing for several months. That's business in TZ for you.

I'm hoping to make it to this investor show on Saturday and will look for NR. My first question will be whether the licence is contingent upon C1drill. Hope to get a sense too whether we are a year, months, or imminently away from approval. If not contingent on the next drill, and is awaiting ministerial signoff, this sp is a clear Buy. If not, s/t movements will depend on HH, which I wouldn't bet the farm on

I don't know how much it'll move the sp, but if AEX manage to farmout a part of Ntorya, it should set a floor for the value of SOLO'S 25% share.

I hope LK does an interview or two to discuss the deal. The sp tends to react well whenever LK opens his mouth.

Nevermind, read that wrong. LTL is the CERP sub, not TXP. CERP should scrub away those legacy DL names as well.

It's consistent with LK's desire to have 'clean' ownership structures. They may have drilling plans right around there, which may have been complicated by TXP's holding. It's not a priority for TXP anyway, so they're prob happy to flip it for a bit of cash.

I'm a big fan of LK, but even the golden bullion himself has had a hard knock lesson in managing s/t expectations lately. Yes, the company has met 'base level' expectations, but he's fully aware that he teased the market into thinking higher numbers would be achievable. That second 'tease' on closing a small deal before end of Q1 was a bit irresponsible. And he said it in that interview with a cocky grin on his face. Am happy to hold as I'm here for the SWP campaign, but he needs to start putting up bigger numbers than c.500bbls/mo and closing deals on time, lest we start second guessing his promises. Or is that starting to happen already?

Would be a good time for mgmt to make a statement of some kind instead of watching their company get driven into the ground. E.g. Mgmt share purchase, update on Analyst discussions, production update, anything to stop the bleeding!

Is absurd. MMs have given up trying to create a market for this stock.
