I believe the clinical term is 'negativity bias', whereby we give more psychological weight to bad experiences than a good ones.

That's what many of us here are hoping for! It would be a lot cleaner adminsitratively, and make for a much more interesting AGM. However, as per below, they have the option of doing it all again a few weeks later if that's needed too.

Last year though we did approve mgmt to be allowed to call an EGM within 14 days, from the previous 21. I assume this doesn't need to be reapproved each year. Would have to read again to see if it includes changes to existing AGM actions.

I expect all these bits will be packaged together in a combined announcement, including rig signing. By end of Q2 as per JB's suggestion? Hopefully will also include a bit more detail on what they're looking for, such as whether they're drilling deeper in search of oil. They've never directly addressed why the back-to-back drill didn't occur. We can piece it together, but they've not been explicit. Relocated drill pad, need for bigger rig, search for oil based on NT2 cuttings, etc. These are good reasons and talking points. Perhaps I'll draft a script for Jay's next Proactive interview...

Is just another example of drilling detail that's been planned but not yet communicated. Can't blame the market for thinking nothing's going on behind the scenes, but clearly there is.

Didn't see that reference in the presentation, but this was verbalised at the investor show. Not a big thing in my mind, as delivery of the rig will be the holdup, not the civil works. In a way, it's comforting to see that they've found an even better entry point.

The well pad location HAS changed, though it will be nearby. Some civil works will be needed, but won't take long. Based on further analysis from the NT2 data.

I disagree a bit with you there. As AEX's corporate communcations house, Camarco have a clear sense of what shareholders should reasonably expect. If they're going to issue an RNS as they did in November, they need to follow up on it (and no, the Jan Update doesn't count as it just repeated the Nov wording). Even SOLO had a separate update on Kiliwani. And they should as it's newsworthy. And even though as a 'premier listed stock they have higher reporting requirements than AIM.... etc etc.' there are lots of ways to update shareholders. I give them the benefit of the doubt on Ruvuma for many reasons, but we deserve to hear more on Kiliawani, and soon. It's our only source of income.

My guess something will start up next week. The question then is whether SOLO will get any bump in activity as the other HH partners tend to get. There's been a bit of decoupling with SOLO and the others recently. Not sure why.

Agree with all of that, esp that we're in better shape than it seems (esp in the eyes of the market). In the short term though, we should be defending our patch as one of the small but growing energy providers. If I were the TZ regulators I'd be watching how fast producers can fix issues and get back on stream. We're not doing that. If there's a plan in place, I'd like to hear it, and not as part of an operational report shoved midway through a dense annual report. Camarco, if you're reading, issuing a troubling RNS in November, followed by 6 months of 'maybe we'll do this, maybe we'll do that', is not OK.

Just all the more frustrating it's taken us so long to get Kiliwani back on stream.

I made two buys today and they're both showing up as sells, so don't read too much into the trades.

Let's just hope the BoD can turn that sweet FA into a sweet FO!

For all the blame we pin on TZ regulators and AEX, look at how long it's taken Horse Hill to undertake flow rate testing? It's been over two years! Even longer when you think back to the original 'gatwick gusher' halcyon days. I even remember seeing the SOLO ticker roll along on Bloomberg TV as if it were a FTSE 100 company. That was eons ago, and yet we STILL don't know if it's commercial.
