Does seem like the sp is just being held back for what ever reason. Nothing seems to get any sustained rise in the sp at this time...even as aim goes this just beyond belief....just have to just wait for the eventual rise when ever that is meant to happen.

Great summary Mr P. Just shows how ludicrous the present sp is with all the pluses in play. Even with such pluses, the sp seems to be surpressed easily by bigger forces for their own agenda imo. This will turn and start moving up big time once the shackles have been removed from the sp. This can happen at any time and all of a sudden imo. Just have to wait it out and accumulate where possible. Has to be one of the best bargains around at the moment, but for how long?

So many positives yet the sp just has not responded so i can only surmise big things are happening in the background with a mind to surpress the sp for the time being so that things can play out for much biggar players. With Newmont on board, gold in a strong position, Uruguay being addressed and the technical report on the Colombian project being released, the present sp seems completely detached with what we know here.

So technical report comes out and sp drops....unbelievable...got frustrated with the way ggp was going previously and sold prematurely with a big loss....that was a mistake with hindsight...Won't do the same here. Will just keep holding as the sp will respond positively eventually imo.

Typical market response to any positive news as such from Omi....really don't understand the info in the rns to be honest but at least the report is now out....maybe someone with more of an understanding of the report could shed some light on it....just a constant waiting game with Omi it seems

Yeah seems ggp is doing good at the moment havd you admit...not in there now....sold out at a loss to get in here so disappointing for me on both counts. Now down a big amount on paper as we await news from omi...very frustrating but just shows how important patience is with aim shares....just have to wait. Big news will come here any time now and the sp will respond accordingly imo

Agree Mr P. Some big positive news is due any time imo. Never expected the sp to still be at this very low level at this time though. Just shows how difficult it is to predict things, however the sp can move very quickly without warning so for me it is just a matter of holding and just waiting for big news to drop.

Very sudden drop. Wouldn't surprise me if it was MMs trying to hit stop losses to grab some shares. Maybe they do have wind of an RNS in the offing.

With the New Year now here, hoping for some positives from OMI now. Been waiting a while for some positive news. Come on OMI don't keep us in suspense. Many positives in play just need a good RNS to get things moving back up and get positive sentiment back again.

You were right about not much happening following the agm Bhargav...but hopefully 2019 will be when good things happen here....everything is looking good despite a lack of positive news coming out from OMI so just a waiting game as ever....Happy new year to all genuine holders

Seems no new year cheer here...yet another red day with low volume and no news from omi....very disappointing.....hope we get some new year cheer..

With Tuesday's rns a degree of uncertainty has been removed so can only be seen as a positive for Omi....disappointing that the sp has not really reflected this though...as I have said before it really is just a waiting game. The sp will re rate in due course, just predicting the timing seems impossible. Though should happen over the weeks imo. If he sp is still at this level tomorrow I will do a small top up as the future for Omi looks very strong imo

I see our resident deramper is up early clutching at straws. Newmont bought into OMI for good reason. They have bought several other companies in close proximity so it is part of a biggar plan for Newmont. Newmont have specified OMI as a plus part of their strategy. They also need to find new gold, as i understand, due to a decline in other araes in their business. If Newmont don't move things forward, no doubt some other big company will take advantage. Either way the future is looking very strong for OMI and the sp is due a big re rate into many multiples of the present sp.

Newmont clearly like Columbia and that's why they invested in OMI. Newmont are well respected with a lot of resources and knowhow at their disposal so by investing in OMI, they obviously like what they see. Simple. Clearly the latest deramper to plague this board either is short or wants to buy in lower. Either way credibility is clearly lacking from such people

More like tears of laughter. OMI is in a strong position after today's RNS. Gold in an uptrend and Newmont on board. They do a lot of due dilligence before investing in a company. They spent over 6 months looking over EG at GGP and walked just to give one comparison. Few shares around and a very small market cap. Also the politics are favourable to OMI in Columbia. So all positive reasons for OMI to multibag over the coming months. There is always someone that tries to put a negative spin on things. They have their own agenda not related to the strength of the company so not worth listening to. Just white noise.

New expected this month. So could drop any day, but if not it will come early January imo. Risky being out of OMI now imo. Either way better to be in now so as not to miss news dropping. Expecting positive news with a big move up in the sp when news drops.

Highest volume day since mid october and not even mid day yet. Uruguay sorted, Further RNS due this month which should give an even bigger boost to the sp imo. All looking much stronger. Sp has moved up without spiking too much so suggests a good strong base is being built. Uncertainty about Uruguay now removed. Sentiment getting stronger now. Patience is key here for massive rewards. Expecting much stronger days now as we approach 2019 and beyond.
