Thanks for the update Bhargav. Good to see some positive fedback from Ignacio. Really cannot understand why the sp is still at these very low levels, indeed still below Newmont's buy in price. Everything does seem to be on track yet the sp still stagnates at these levels. Absolutely beyond belief with all the positives in play. At some point the sp will move up significantly and "relect the value" imo but when is the big question.

Just 3 trades today, which look more like buys, imo looking at the spread all being on NEX at 4.75p and still the sp goes down a touch. Makes no sense to me whatsoever. Just waiting for some good news which is is imminent. The calm before the storm it would seem

Lack of news always leads to negativity with aim shares. Just wish OMI BoD would be a bit more proactive with shareholder updates despite them saying they would only release RNS's that have meaningful info or words to that effect. either way i will just keep holding. Newmont would not have invested if there were likey to be any problems so that is a strong positive case for me to keep holding and buy more as and when i can

Volume very low. 3 trades on NEX all look like buys though. Just a waiting game. Sp could move up any time imo.

We don't see what is happening in the background....so on the face of it very little appears to have been achieved over the past year as far as we can see...that said Uruguay is due to be concluded in the coming weeks and more news from Newmont is close imo..we have come this far but not much longer to wait imo

Agree Bhargav. Also pretty much given on the timings of things with Omi. That said news from Newmont about drilling and Uruguay due in the coming weeks imo so expecting a much stronger sp well before the year end....some things take time. Much closer now to solid company changing news going forward.

Time ticking by and news draws ever closer. Uraguay soon will be all wrapped up imo and drilling news from Newmont will bring some big positve movements in the sp. Gold much higher than when Newmont got involved here so all looking very good. Still unbelievable that the sp is still at these very low levels. I topped up with a few more shares today taking advantage of the low sp. Will keep topping up when the opportunity arrives but not expecting these low sp opportunities for much longer. Expecting a big re rate here in the coming weeks.

Yes agree..unbelievable and makes no sense....typically aim....just a waiting game...eventually we will be richly rewarded....each day gets closer to big news imo

Good link Bhargav..Newmont decided to go with OMI as they liked what they found. Just wish they would get a move on. Things have really been dragging regarding news. Sometimes wonder if the OMI board are actually really doing anything. I know they said no RNS's unless important information is available but this lack of news just kills the sp. I'm very confident of good news in the coming weeks but the waiting is worse than watching paint dry...come on OMI/Newmont lets have some positive news.

biggish sell of 171k on NEX just popped up so maybe not MMs games for a change? Either way holding for news from OMI/Newmont, getting ever closer

Good feedback topsharepicks. As you say it is a positive reply and means when we do get an RNS it will have a very big impact on the sp imo. We can never know when an RNS will land but it does indicate they are on the ball. More frequent news does sound good when Newmont finally start drilling as well. All in all, very risky being out of this share as news draws ever closer.

Great to see gold moving strongly which just increases the value of the project with Newmont but we really do need some news from OMI/Newmont to move things in a sustained way with the sp. Positive news here has really been lacking since Newmont got on board but can't be much longer imo.

Very true. Alot of disappointment around last year. Expected things to have moved quicker than they have. However we are now so close to big news. The long wait has been tortuous i don't mind saying but now we await developments that are looking very positive imo and due over the coming weeks. The MMs know how to screw people over in the short term but once news lands then the sp will really take off imo and be on a much more solid base. Why sell now when big rewards are so close. I'm staying put for the longer term and will only sell a few much higher at around 15p approx.

I've been buying since last year, like yourself Bhargav, as well and have accumulated more than i expected, the reason being i did not expect the sp to be at these very low levels for so long but this was a great opportunity for me to get in at ridiculously low levels for a mega life changing pay day as this pans out. I believe double figures is very close and as more and more news comes out, the sp will move much higher as the real value here becomes clearer. I keep reading how the world economy is in danger of going into recession so gold is a classic hedge against this which is clearly a big positive for OMI

I tend to agree, unlikely to be an RNS today but you never know. Either way one in due very soon imo

Newmont and Uraguay news getting ever closer. News could come today, Monday or anytime real soon imo. Better to be in imo and not risk being out.
