Yes, the Alberta gas price was instrumental in pushing up iTe in Toronto yesterday. After a subdued opening on the TSX this morning the stock is again on the move. Perhaps we will become more astute next week.

Although late I was quite pleased to jump in early today.
Has I3E always been a trader's plaything?

Starting to pick up again in Toronto.
I learnt an interesting technicality on the two southerly laterals at Mt Olive but am unable to confirm it. So better to await results hopefully within a fortnight.

Whilst possibly being wrong I regard the present set of figures as comprising cargo to Saramuro with the smaller number being offloaded in Iquitos. Maybe, maybe not.

@ 09:36 - I can only partly agree with the sentiment on "arbitrage": They have to roughly tally as by not doing so it will leave folk like me dealing on, say, the TSX when factors are favourable. PTAL/TAL is a prime example for much of the time.

For balance, and having slept on the above, I took up a modest sum of I3E. The choice was perhaps influenced by yesterday's frantic close on the TSX. The lesson is: Listen to other opinions.

Highveld, touche on EQT: I threw a bundle at it a fair time back. None too bothered if the cash goes down the tube as I have been desperate to see solutions on waste. The problem first registered as a teenager when rounding Cape Guardafui in 1960. The spectre of detritus being thrown off the stern of SS Annenkerk has stayed with me ever since. If we don't solve it (among other habits) the planet's future course is pretty much nailed on.

SHG should go up another notch today.

Have been tracking the Vredefort meteorite impact consequences and subsequent mineralisation on another thread.

I had always thought my geological knowledge of S Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe to be above average. It seems not. Tharisa is on the brink of remarkable development up north. We are possibly looking at something that is equal to Witwatersrand, Bushveld, Limpopo and N Cape combined.

I have someone looking into 5-grain elements as discussed in the article below in respect of the Great Dyke. IMO the potential up in Zim is enormous. Perhaps I can inflict Ilja with questions as he would probably have a good handle on the subject insofar as that N-S rift is implicated.

Unless the arbitrage (JSE) is controlling it I'm mildly miffed at not being able to buy anything more all morning. Perhaps this is an example of when having a broker is advantageous: they get the job done.
