RE: Mt Olive Road, Gwinville25 Mar 2022 18:55
Seav- I am not a geologist and therefore not an authority on the subject. There are pointers to the way forward:
a) the field is multi-stacked and as happened in the Bakken more than a single horizon will be found;
b) horizontals, I understand, in Jefferson-Davis have merely been 3- and 4-fracked to date:
c) Gwinville S18 and S19 will be multi-perforated (number unknown) over 1+ km each;
d) later horizontals will be ~2 km;
e) the vertical well in one section has yielded 0.3 Bcf. The current batch drills will produce considerably more;
f) the boys in the City have been following closely since AIM listing;
g) consolidation on the TSX pre-AIM limits number of shares floating around; and
h) SOUC has extended its area of interest into southern OK, which has potential.
By a stroke of luck I managed to snaffle another 5,700 @ 36.5p. Totally unexpected.
W.r.t. others, I have a fair number of IOG, SQZ and DELT. The last is somewhat blind but the premise is Cairn or Shell will get stuck into Pensacola quite soon. KIST was temporary (exiting @ £4.46). Still unsure on that one. Dependent on batch drilling success SOUC could quite easily become my biggest gas holding. Finding time to write to US and Canadian contacts is difficult at present but I do have one guy in Vancouver who is making enquiries.
o/t - An area of expertise, if you want a recommendation, is fertilisers, phosphates and related minerals. If inclined take up a few HMI for 6 months and see if they can reach £1. Brian McM is no mug.
