RE: PetroPeru & Talara - some background info.22 Sep 2022 22:38
@ 15:17 - Yes, I noted Talara had summarised the position over consecutive days. It's a tricky exercise, i.e. lightweight drone kits have limited deployment time, retrieving them in densely forested areas, suitable staffing and who picks up the tab, etc add to level of difficulty.
A number of other incidentals come into the frame -
a) Iquitos dockyard barge building programme;
b) Iquitos refinery upgrade plan 2 years away;
c) Manaus daily/monthly storage capacity and Atlantic turnaround;
d) Constitucion/Osheki acceleration if Bretana suffers logjams.
Otherwise, like you, I am happy to ride it out. The Bretana reservoir has steadily grown with the southern extension yet to be tested. Also, with Carranza in Lima and Harris in London, another two years in PTAL should reveal further developments [There is at least one operator in Loreto looking for a partner.]
