The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Has to be an RNS about reopening shortly. Peter Rabbit 2 comes out on 11th with Wonder Woman 1984 (a so called tent pole movie!) on 16th. Cine cannot miss them. I think the term tent pole refers to the nearest there is to a sure thing!
3M have a factory in Germany!
Be interesting to know who German manufacturer is. 3M have a plant there. From the RNS '... and also purchase P2F filter material for their own brand masks.' Are they going to purchase P2F?
'....works for the largest PPE manufacturer in UK ......... but I can't identify them'!!

I know this article is 2 days old. However, the oxford vaccine lead, JB emphasised "Data from our first interim analysis is also likely to be available in the very near future, and by that I mean weeks not months".
Also, can I ask - According to interactive investor there were 1.93 bn before the RI, which will enlarge by 6.4 bn to 8.37 bn, afterwards. Presently, according to HL there are 5.63 bn shares in issue. What is this present figure made up of? Does this mean the remainder, 2.74 bn will be added for dealing on 12th Nov. (Thurs)? How will this effect the price. Thanks in advance.
I agree even though I done ok except for 10,000 share I have to buy back. It's said you only get one or two real opportunities a year. This was one, but it wasn't. No chance to buy anything. Why pay HL - when you need them they can't deliver.

Reading both together and you get the sense that the RR consortium are after commitments from today's meeting from the government.
It is clear that the biggest problem now is not competition but "manufacturing capacity". (turner Pope research note). Put all the snippets of information together. "most infectious" ,"affirmers are specific" - RNS, "commercially sensitive" - AS interview, "Abington, largest contract LFT manufacturer in europe" - RHS, "not quite there yet", "government assisting companies with next generation pregnancy style tests" - Han**** interview.
The AVCT test appears to be the one. Probably ready to go weeks ago, however the government have realised the potential and through a mutual NDA have asked for a redesign / tweaks to account for the testing problems that have been encountered and highlighted in the daily mail article etc. My opinion, of course.
"Manufacturing capacity is therefore the key challenge.....We therefore continue to actively seek additional manufacturing partners globally to be able to provide the volume of tests that will be required in the UK and elsewhere"
Apologies if this statement from the recent RNS has already been commented on. It appears they have bought all available manufacturing in the UK of say 5-10m units / month but this is not enough to satisfy the UK need, let alone need elsewhere.
What are the delays in sourcing contract manufacturing? Is there no spare capacity? Are they being held to ransom over price?
I know the wording 'most infectious' has been discussed before. Would the affirmers allow for colour coding much like a urine test for glucose / ketones. This would then identify the most infectious so called super carriers. Just a thought.
