So much wonderful advice in here what one should have done or didn't t do and even ad vice to research more throughly. Problem is this is all retrospective, we needed that advice 5 years ago . Such clever people but, I ponder, what the hell are they doing in here if they knew all this before they brought in
Quote: Although the basic statistical underpinnings of COS predictions are not mathematically complicated, in practice, there appear to be significant difficulties. The consequences of this in many cases include misplaced expectations and hence morale problems from results of exploration which fall outside expectations. In reality, commercial exploration success rates worldwide range from 30–40%. So, there is more pain than not in our industry with the unfolding of expectations:Unquote
it dosent matter what they say about the portland project . although the intention is to , perhaps, to capitalise on those who do not think it though and see it as an opportunity. the facts are ukog dont have the money to exploit portland and to get the money as a loan they would have to convince the lender that there was a profit to be made in the long run.nobody much is running on hydrogen , a few enthusiasts producing their own hydrogen perhaps .the only possible big users will be ships and aircraft but how many ships and aircraft will be converted or built to run on it will be sp**** even as far ahead as 2043 , so it might be turning in a profit by 2060 ? as i have said before in here the general use by cars is very doubtful .we usb not forget that there is not health and safety or intelligence test to run a car .the people who keep cars represent every temperament of the human race, some careful, some thoughtful, and some plain stupid or obstinate or ignorant, may run cars also but dont have enough money to keep them fully serviceable . you are not going to persuade me, that hydrogen will ever be a safe fuel .it could only be used safely (or nearly safely) is in the hands of careful people .so the not so bright john doe who doesnt really bother too much about regulations (they are for fools rant they is his response) ia aware or suspects (or does not suspect at all) that his hydrogen tank is leaking slowly puts it away in the garage over night.in the morning when he returns and switches the garage lights the garage and his house disappear in the resulting explosion , and perhaps even killing a neighbour or two. this would be, by no means, a rare event either .the main market for hydrogen would be cars and cars are unlikely to be run on hydrogen after a few explosions have taken place
I suppose paying themselves the full salary of a successful company is not against the law , but it ought to be . However, it does not say much for the morale standards of the BoD if they do not share the pain along with their shareholders, too. But if one has proof that UKOG is a shell company acting only in the interests of its executive , then the people to complain to is LSE
Goldbar, probably the most interesting share buy I have seen in here, especially as they are probably from the same person/organisation. In the event somebody would stand to lose 20,000 if they were wrong so they must have reason to believe that they are right , unless, of course, they are just trying to spike the SP to cash back in immediately there is a slight rise
Could be that I and am sure others, too, stopped whingeing pointlessly and lodged the question direct with LSE. The time lapse appeared to be too long between since the update on the information we had been given. This meant that information of potential share value could, based upon undisclosed news, was known to a select few who could buy and sell according to their privileged information .The rules of AIM apply
Am I right to assume that nobody is entitled to different opinion than the one you hold ? The facts are that there is nothing good to report about UKOG at the moment and the indications are not good either .Most of us would be delighted if there is good new but so far we only have bad news to go on.One can understand you, like the rest of us, is keen for UKOG to make a go of it and this share will respond very dramatically indeed if there are good indications and I am sure that penguins will be just as enthusiastic as the rest of us .Meantime, from my own point of view the shares I brought for 11 pence each are now worth fractions of a penny , sorry if I express disappointment in UKOG !
Sources . I cannot see any grounds to sue the company, but to be a member of AIM they have to implement the rules set by AIM, as far as I can see they have not issued any RNS's re changes in fortunes of the company which would affect the SP. If that is true then that would put management in a position to be able to benefit from inside knowledge and the general shareholders are denied it .I have complained to LSE, it is up to other Shareholders to do the same .If in investigating LSE see a legal infringement as well as their own rules being ignored then we would hope that LSE regard that as a legal matter and take the appropriate action
