Well sai. In my opinion, to get the legalities out of the way, It appears to me to be a company that sells promises of oil rather than the stuff in barrels. In my opinion, too, there appears to have been at least one correspondent in here who pushes the company, maybe even paid to do so ......All in my opinion, of course !
Bearing in mind previous statements from UKOG, I would have thought that they are duty bound to tell THEIR SHARE HOlDERS if they had run into trouble acquiring them .I am afraid this has gone past the credibility gap . Perhaps a little bit of truth maybe in order UKOG ?
As I predicted in here a few months back that SS may start a new project to mine for gold on the moon. Just reading an article on News Now and they are thinking that there may be rare earths and gold on the moon.... Please don't tell SS
I think you are right. The world is approaching the tipping point but at the moment relies heavily upon fossil fuels .The change over is so vast and so many machines, facilities, and industries are dependent upon fossil , we cannot simply say stop fossil .It is going to take years to wind down .However, for the environmentalists please note, there is no such thing as an optimum climate on Earth, it has always fluctuated and probably always will
Oh i'll add to that .If gas becomes in short supply or so pricey that people, especially pensioners cant afford it for full time heating in winter , probably more people, especially the elderly, may die of hypothermia this winter , We are not talking one or two but in hundreds or even thousands . Aint nobody been killed by fracking yet, except for industrial accidents in that trade
Yes you are right .World wide, it is said, 2,000,000 wells have been fracked, in the USA nearly a million . By Greenpeace rules we should be getting constant Earthquakes .The truth is it is a false flag put about by environmentalists to support their cause .You know the people who don't like oil but drive to their supermarkets to shop, or take the kids too school by car, go on holiday by air .. or wear synthetic clothing etc etc. The real truth is that no appreciable damage has been done by earth tremors caused by fracking anywhere in the world . What happens is it may cause deep resettlement in a few cases and what has happened on the surface , so far, is a tremble can be felt on the surface which has been compared to a heavy lorry passing by (Some dwellings suffer hundreds of those per day !) . Talk of Earthquakes, of course, gets the attention of property owners so they are easily recruited . It is really time that the media laid out the facts (Oh and PS all deep mining of any sort can result in later resettlement, there are still areas in old coal mining districts that suffer the odd rumble as tunnels collapse deep down
For some reason there appears to be a reluctance by UKOG to discuss the perforation .Logic would suggest, however, that the company is so non-functional now that they would grasp any good news at all and broadcast it far and wide ......That hasn't happened !!!!
Yes I think you are right 'again' Penguins. It does not take that much time to shove a larger pipe in and blast some bigger hoples in it .It all points to a fundamental problem which they have not discussed .As there is no joint nor independent statement, regardless that it would be quite easy for UKOG to explain unexpected equipment delays or drilling holdups, then there must be another reason about which they do not wish to tell us about . As I said yesterday , to my mind, it
smacks of disagreement . Which could be costs, or even if it is worth continuing at this location !
Oh come on no-one is trying to damage the company, but you must get clear in the your the difference between success and failure.Of this moment UKOG is a failure .Shareholders are not damaging it, the company is damaging itself and its shareholders
The lack of news rather gives the impression that there is no good news to be heard. In the event, if bad news is being deliberately with-held - to my mind would speak of SP manipulation .If that is the case then it would only be possible to suppress news for a short while and the effect when it eventually became leaked would lead, I think, to share holder unrest and probably a high level resignation ?
Nice to see Sirus minerals mentioned, one of my more successful shares ,immediately after they got development planning permission and I picked up £3 K for my shares. Governments, we used to make airoplanes, and cars and televisions and we owned companies such as MG and Rolls Royce. We used to drill for oil without having to seek long everlasting planning consents and appeals . We used to have an NHS (but that is now a when we have time for you and half of the hospitals have been closed anyway ) We used to invent things , like trains and jet engines and programme computers. refrigerators , torepedos ,Jumps jets ,hovercraft.jet fighters .We had mighty shipyards on the Clyde and in Belfast .Didnt they build the latest Ocean liner in Italy ? We had the worlds largest merchant navy .We used to make transfer our own railways Bit by bit successive governments have exported Great Britian abroad so that we now have to import just about everything we need. They have done the same with Shale Gas, we have more than enough, but no lets pay other countries to produce it and foreign fleets to import it on .We now have an army too of about 85,000 .30 to 40% of those will be in non combat occupations, so we could probably just about field one single division and that with backups or rotation possible .Yet being a woke supporter or stop oil is just about the limit of our press interest in the country and it is the press that keeps governments on its toes ,so they are failing us too
