But the area is viable. Oil was discovered in good quantities in the late 1940s. It wasn't taken out of the ground because it was considered too expensive at that time due to undertake a deep water drill.

Times have changed and many companies now have the deep water drilling experience required. Oil is there - definitely.

So why didn't we sign up with the French? oil company? Who knows. But whatever is going on we are now out of the period of exclusivity with a million dollars more in the coffers for our troubles. We do, according to Potter have many more irons in the fire.

We also have someone ( a private investor maybe?) who has a sniff that a deal is on its way (the out of the blue NEX purchase in quantity)

All good from where I'm sitting. I'm expecting 10p minimum, maybe 15p on deal. But WTF do I know? Its all a punt isn't it? Just this time I think its a more informed punt than previously.

I just cant see that Potter, however incompetent he may be; can cock this one up. Oil discovered in or close to BPC licence area in the 1940s. It hasn't gone anywhere.

Then there is that strange NEX trade out of the blue. We've both been around long enough to know that's virtually as good as an RNS.

I'm in with an average of 1.87, knowing that the info leak means a two to three week wait until news.

If its a deal, which seems likely its a 4 to 5 bagger minimum. All investments are risky, but BPC seem such good odds to me I threw £18 grand plus at it.

Still each to their own I suppose.. 2p+ by end of play tomorrow as odds filter through to other oil interested pis!

I brought in here for a million shares following the unusual buy on NEX. In my views that deal was made following a leak or a tip off in some format. The tip might be some weeks in advance of actual news. I never expected an RNS today or even next week. I'm simply prepared for the news that will fall within the next few weeks.
Patience is called for. To expect an RNS immediately is not only impatient but unrealistic.

I've been in and out of BPC for 8 years and seen highs of 25p on speculation. So who knows? Anyone else with better estimates of Potter actually getting on with things?

I disagree with the ramping accusation. I found a company that I considered would provide opportunity for pi's to multi bag. I was eager to share that having been very successful in my investments into insurance companies previously.
Could my enthusiasm be considered ramping? By sceptics of course it could, just wasn't the case here though. If I was such a 'ramper' would I have bought so many shares myself?

I am an honest guy and I wear my heart on my sleeve. I have found the mistrust shown by Euclid and Investor totally alien to who I am. I have found their derision and disbelief personally offensive.
I have posted up my purchases and holdings to show I was telling the truth and not expecting possible investors to follow my actions without 'walking the walk' myself.

The same cannot be said of Euclid or Investor111 who refuse to back up their words in any form whatsoever. I find that refusal strange considering they claim to be on this bulletin board as holders themselves.

Finally I must apologise unreservedly to Euclid for calling him a snivelling knuckle dragger. That was personal abuse beyond acceptable levels. I can only claim, albeit weakly, that he provoked my dark side beyond restraint.

I should have settled on the more factual statement that he has does indeed possess a personality vacuum.

Thank you for your observations and concerns. I won't be posting again here. But all I know could be discovered if any pi did very deep research. I came on this board because I wanted to share with fellow pis about an exciting prospect.

I have made many connections in life as we all have. I'm very knowledgeable about this particular field.

Why else would I put sixty K in? I believe in trying to help each other out on bulletin boards such as lse.

After all pis are usually the last to know and the first to get screwed. Im in ALGW for two percent of the company. I've nearly nine percent of free float.

I wanted to share an opportunity to multi bag with others.
I posted my deals to prove the genuine claims I was making.

However, my efforts have been met with doubt, derision and downright insults.
