Hi Keith
In my view, over the years, Potter has NOT been working 24/7 to achieve a drill.
Early doors, and even more so as time went on, Potter has drawn a considerable salary.
I believe he has been happy to keep his lifestyle afloat rather than put the company first.
I was here at the beginning when 20p was a normal daily sp.
There was a lot of energy to get a drill moving on evidence of the 1946 drilling programme find near to BPC licence's.
Potter never forced the momentum home.
My family has had links with the Bahamas since my mother lived there as a war bride. The feeling from them was acceptance that a drill would take place as it was good for the economy. Local gossip was that Potter lived the high life, choosing self interest over outcome.
So, all in all, its the evidence I've seen over the past ten years and some local feeling.
I still believe an announcement is soon to be forthcoming to ensure the value of Potter's share holdings materialise. We may even take a smaller slice of the cake from the farm in to get the deal done.
