I not just highlighting this morning's buy because it was a buy of half a million. That could well be small cheese in a few weeks time; but was does the time stamp tell you?

An 8.00 buy says to me I need to buy asap in case news leaks.

Maybe nothing, but I'm always on the hunt for something unusual, and an 8.00 buy for BPC at present market conditions sticks out a little bit.

Look at what popped up within 30 seconds of opening this morning. I wouldn't call that a casual buy.

But I'm compelled to ask if you have so much negatively towards bpc then why haven't you simply sold up and moved on to more secure investments?

...as someone of your 'experience' must know anyone viewing BPC as a good stock to 'pump and dump' would be slightly insane.
Firstly far too many shares in issue.
Secondly far too much money required to make sp move significantly.
Thirdly, any pump and dump' is surrounded by internet buzz.
BPC has no Twitter presence and there were rarely more than 50 posts a day here.
So, with respect, I won't be joining you for whatever it is you are drinking.

...for remembering my post. Look at what happened on the 29th November. A buy of a million plus in one gulp.
Ask yourself if that was just an accident? Who would make a buy like that if there was no sign of a deal!

...didn't go red. Some difficulty distinguishing between buys and sells today.
Didn't see the sort of unusual trades I wanted. But for some to take the view 'Its all over and a waste of time' seems a bit doom and gloom to me. Watch and wait. The trades will appear.

I try to make a suggestion and expect at least a discussion. That implies an exchange of ideas.

Just a lot of 'this share is crap' doesn't quite cut it intellectually for me. Just saying.

I beg to differ. All the time we are sitting reading message boards things are happening in the background. Some good, some bad.
I'm someone who invests on clues. Sometimes I win. Sometimes I lose.
All sells and buys over the last week or so have been minor league stuff. Then up pops a twelve grand buy from no where.
Of course that but maybe made by a guy after a liquid lunch at Wetherspoons. Maybe. Maybe not.
I choose to believe it was calculated based on a glimpse of info.
So many sceptics on this board are going to be eating humble pie at the same well known establishment of I'm right!

For me the jury is still out and a favourable verdict is very possible.
If you think this stock is a dog, by all means sell up and move on.

What I love on this board is every ****er wants to shoot pis down but don't have any actual views they are willing to put forward themselves. No respect for ****s that just moan and groan without explanation.

The NEX purchase was made 14 working days ago. It wasn't made following a drunken night out was it?

Just how long is the period between finding out a piece of key information and that information becoming reality?

The guy who put up £34k bought at a time BPC share price was falling. If the news was in the long term he only had to wait a week or so and he could have bought at closer to a penny. He chose to buy immediately.

My view is he bought on a key piece of information that fell into his hands. Therefore I believe that info will surface within 5 weeks of discovery at most. We've had 3 weeks, so I'm expecting some signs of a leak soon. In my view it will start with an increase in volume and some buys in the £10k and £20k regions.

I believe it will happen on the little evidence we have.

Perhaps Mr Conchy you would give us your views on the situation and present a reasoned argument for those same views?

I'm still 100% confident that the £34 grand buy on NEX is as good a tip as we are going to get.

Very easy to watch NEX trades. I subscribe to ADVFN. An essential service if you are a serious trader.

On ADVFN I watch BPC trades on LSE and NEX. Its easy peasy. Look up ADVFN on the internet and take a months free trial.

....all share dealing has some degree of chance. We as possible can only try to make sense of the clues we see.

The share price of BPCwas gradually falling to below 1p, then from nowhere someone buys £34 grands worth. Completely against the run of play.
The purchaser could have been pi55ed, they could have had fat thumbs or they could have access to early info.

I've made my mind up. If I'm right then I'm very well off. If I'm wrong I'm out of the game for quite some time.

On 5th Nov (approx) there was a large 2mill+ buy for £34k or above made on the NEX market for shares. Not on LSE.

I spotted it and started to buy in next day. For a company who have just been kicked in the teeth with a 'no deal' from their big oil company it made no sense.

For me it was the equivalent of an RNS saying that BPC have another company waiting to share the drill waiting in the wings.

I've been in the game for a very long time, holding and selling BPC many times. I'm almost a resident.

So I've now got £50k (2.5million shares) hanging on a Yes deal.
