That QVH was shortlisted for the "The HETT Unexpected Innovation Awards " also known as the " That will never work award".

Therefore, surely after such a successful design around patients symptoms pathway , which were going to be expanded at QVH to more practice groups , and knowing that BLEEPA has the best, most secure communication wrapper available its hard to see a case for BLEEPA not being selected by QVH.

Queen Victoria Hospital: Community Diagnostic Centre – End to End System Pathway

The team at Queen Victoria Hospital (QVH) has delivered the first live and operational end-to-end symptom-based pathway in the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) space. The pathway connects primary care providers, the new CDC and a multidisciplinary team of specialist consultants at QVH around a single patient journey.

There was immense scepticism that this could be achieved because of the number of stakeholders required to deliver it, and the complexity of both cross-provider governance considerations and flows of critical patient information.

Rather than referring patients for individual diagnostic tests, having to manage the results and then refer into an appropriate specialty, GP colleagues can now refer onto a pathway linked to their patient’s symptoms, resulting in a programme of coordinated tests at the CDC. The results can be reviewed by a team of relevant consultants from multiple specialties. This enables the CDC to be used not merely as a source of diagnostic tests but as part of an integrated clinical management and support service.

The trust used the Bleepa platform, which was able to integrate with both GP and QVH systems, creating a wrapper of clinical data around the individual patient. A breathlessness pathway reviewed by a cardiologist, a respiratory consultant and an ENT consultant, is now live between one GP practice and QVH.

The clinician response has been fantastic, both from primary and secondary care stakeholders. The pathway is soon to be expanded to three new practice groups and new clinical pathways are currently being designed"

The presentation in February was more than just positive and i interpreted their answers as everything is more than on track. The only thing i don't understand is that the finance guy said the QVH tender should be out mid March and here we are ...still waiting. The good news is as far as i can see, is the award notice has not been published - so still all good imo.

Feedbacks offering is very much what they visualise going forward over next 2-5 years, where everyone has their own health record that contains all their touches with health services, GP etc and ALSO in time should include all touches with social care professionals such as Social Services, nursing homes, home care agencies, charities that provide emotional, psychological support etc - so at anytime those that need to, can have access to a complete overview of an individuals health and social care interventions which have been accessed in past, and present day.


The thing that i never really thought about is that each patients digital "Life long" medical record will also need to incorporate, be accessed by as well as being open to recording events etc by "Social Care" as well as Health. They give examples where someone could be pregnant , and is losing weight and is treated by the appropriate doctor etc, but this doctor will also need to have access to any social care records that could give more information for diagnosis such as she is also a carer for her husband, she is in rehab, she has no financial support, she is seeking debt counselling, she is seeing volunteer councillor for depression , or maybe their are serious safeguarding concerns, recorded by social services around her other children etc.

Point being then, that this opens up a whole new raft of users and licenses from workers employed in the social care field such as social workers, care navigators, social prescribers, mental health support charities, home carer, nursing homes etc

Therefore , to create a service that is truly joined up between health an social care everything will be required to be recorded in the one place, and accessible on a need to know basis.

So this journey that is about to begin with our health status will over next five years build out into the community care settings also, according to the plan.

Well. Next week is the last week in March, and also
the old financial year...his is significant imo, along with the QVH contract starting on the 1st April, ( only a week Monday) and FDBKs old contract expiring....I think next week will be
our week....getting pi£^ed off with a 4p drop on a few small sells, then I remember it works the other way also, with close to a 40% rise recently...I also think it's significant that we are only 15% down on recent climb, and no one is selling in any significant amounts and from what I see peeps are having trouble buying.....and that is at a time of no news , radio silence and boredom. Why Instagram? Just release the product ! Let's see if this offering sells? I sometimes think that CHILL rely too much on social marketing ( employes mainly digital marketeers) and should report more on actual sales. And revenues, this one has not yet been lit yet, and it's the biggest non selling product that they bang on about. What happened to all the other stuff they come up with in past two years.. Where is the marketing , promotion of these. , where are the sales, revenue, etc....if this is going to go on evey year, with a new "savour" product it's going to get a bit repetitive.

It's hard for us all to see what pressures are on the bods at this late stage....if they have finance in place but with conditions then this is between a rock and a hard place, on the other hand they will not let this
Deal fail, and should have a
plan B, one with less conditions but less favorable terms.
I am no expert so please ignore. But one thing is for sure IMO, todays interview release was a message to those who have are still in, and yet not capitulated in the negotiations .
The fact he mentioned, some of the the sticking points as not in the country's interest ....is a clear message IMO

Having reread some previous RNSs. Especially the sited reasons why they raised £3.5m on 17th Feb. Im now thinking that one or more of the points mentioned in todays article, which remain to be negotiated and concluded, are stipulated as conditions dependent on future funding for the project. Maybe, these sticking points are proposed by future funders, whom have expressed interest but require certain conditions to be met first. .....if so, then maybe the negotiations will take longer, and possibly why fundraise required.

I'm no expert in mining shares but I'm surprised these types of negotiations are happening at this late stage.
If Mkango are the ones asking for "external bank accounts and a waver on taxes, among others."... I would have thought these critical discussions would have beeb discussed earlier and so ALL partys knew exactly what the deal would involve.

Imo Mkango are right to hang in there to get the very best deal they feel they can....and having a bank account external from country paying you is wise in case accounts get frozen etc......the waver on taxes
Surprised me as isn't that what the government want at the end of the day, plus jobs.

Attorney General Thabo Chakaka Nyirenda has given a nod to the Global Metals mining agreement, which has been on hold for some time.

The government has, for some time, delayed the process of signing mining development agreements for Lotus Resources, Mkango Resources Limited and Globe Metals companies, which delayed their mining work.

Chakaka Nyirenda told The Daily Times that paperwork for the agreements has been finalised.

“We, as government, were withholding our signature to the agreements as some terms were not okay.

“We have reached an agreement with Global Metals and agreements will be signed this week.

“With the remaining two mining companies, we are still having problems reaching an agreement, hence the negotiations are underway,” he said.

Meanwhile, Parliamentary Committee on Natural Resources and Climate Change Chairperson Werani Chilenga has welcomed the development.

“This is the good news we, as a committee, have been waiting for. We have a lot of minerals the company will be working on and Malawi stands to benefit from that,” Chilenga said.

Some of the things mining companies have been asking for include permission to have external bank accounts and a waver on taxes, among others.
