The sunscreen scandal shocking Australia - the world's skin cancer hotspot!

I was totally unaware of this scandal.

This article is a fascinating, if scary read but highlights the sweet spot that INCs S&C could be involved in , if they are able as they have hinted at bring out a scientifically tested, medical sun cream, that can be bought over the counter .

"She learned the sunscreen she had been using for years was unreliable and, according to some tests, offered next to no sun protection at all.

Independent analysis by a trusted consumer advocacy group has found that several of Australia's most popular, and expensive, sunscreens are not providing the protection they claim to, kicking off a national scandal.

There has been a massive backlash from customers, a probe launched by the country's medical watchdog, multiple products pulled from shelves, and questions raised about the regulation of sunscreen around the globe.

It's definitely not an issue isolated to Australia," cosmetic chemist Michelle Wong told the BBC."

The award was given to Tamil Nadu for its work in T nagar as they stated below.

“ We have installed 1.3 lakh smart meters in T Nagar, Chennai. While many states use smart meters mainly for billing, TNPDCL is the only utility using data analytics to expand their use further,” he claimed.

At the above conference this weekend they made several awards for good practice.

Robably not but one award went to Tamilnadu and another to MP East (Madhya Pradesh).

I agree. Esyasoft would be an attractive contender.

Esyasoft and Adani Energy formed a 49:51 joint venture for implementing smart metering projects in India and other countries.

Esyasoft provides the technology and platforms that power smart meters and grid management for utilities, significantly expanding their presence in India via the Adani partnership who at the time had a 20 plus million unit pipeline in India.

My understanding is IntelliSmart have a similar smart metering holding in India presently, so they could make a similar investment again in IntelliSmart to secure further market share.

Looks like they are putting the feelers out to assess what interest there is, if any.

It was approx a year ago that rumours appeared that IntelliSmart were buying a significant share of CC.

Was this true, if so was it rejected by CC, was it to make IntelliSmart look more attractive in a future sale.

Whoever owns IntelliSmart Iand a sale actually happens , I imagine CC will remain a major partner.

You can see from my previous post that a $46m investment was made from British international Investment ( BII) . This is what BII have to say on this investment.
