M99 I'd agree with you about the tariff statement plus they are already in negotiations. Nationgate are going to produce them as is Australia maybe others are in the pipeline. Also lars said smt will be added fiscal year 26 so anytime up to June next year.

Ok thanks VR I'm more interested that after more than 10yrs of cap-xx promising smt I don't care what's in it as long as they get it working and achieve worldwide sales on a huge scale. I get the point though someone will end up with their technology if it's of any value maybe it will be cap-xx.

I wouldn't expect anything from ionic they can't raise any money so I doubt anything is near to commercialisation.

Best to concentrate on what we've been told it was quite clear in the results presentation smt is where the focus is.

At this moment in time what we know is smt is coming in 2026 patent or no patent.

Is there anything else going on that dh and gc would describe as exciting times ahead.

I don't think it is VR it's looking more likely to be related to the smt/binder patents and soon to be released products.

This is what they're telling investors this is what is so exciting.

What does scalable and expandable worldwide mean? Maybe this is where licensing comes into play.

The sooner this becomes reality the better then we'll see how big it can become.

Thanks parkez I agree that is the plan once sufficient protection has been secured and products continue to pass all tests they will be released to market sometime in 2026. If it comes off and goes to plan dh will be happy.

It's worth reading what gw on advfn is saying. He is correct that the word 'secured' was used regarding these patents so I have to admit it's not clear to me what is going on regarding product release. Schurter are definitely testing products whether it's the 2023 patented products or these latest ones who knows other than exciting times ahead.

Hi parkez I agree with your patent timescales what do you think about product sales. I've read that during the patent process there comes a time when protection is provided although patents haven't been fully granted. Not sure at what stage this occurs but it's unlikely products will be released to the market until then otherwise you risk the patents becoming invalid something cap-xx are very familiar with!

M99 lars was quite clear in the presentation about the patents. They haven't yet been granted and have to be very careful what is disclosed as the competition could jeopardise a successful outcome.

You can see for yourself they've advanced to the national phase been published and have been specifically applied for in certain countries. The patent claims were also amended following the report from the first phase.

They're quite clearly progressing and keeping news closely guarded. I can only think this is was is being referred to as exciting by dh and other parties closer to the action than we are.

M99 I wouldn't assume that as the agreement with the University of Singapore could involve graphene development and who knows what will happen to the ionic assets.

It really is like what Open said clean sweep out with old and focus on what was communicated in the results presentation......growing revenues, established distribution and developing relationship with schurter, potentially huge new design wins, dmv, dmh and smt all progressing with the surface mount technology soon to become a new family of products. Like lars said cap-xx version 1 is history this is cap-xx v2 and they need to deliver on what they now say.

Gw1 have a listen to lar's again answering question on patents. They're still in progress and have to be very careful the competition don't scupper them. They're obviously approaching a critical stage of development and have something they believe to be special that needs to be carefully protected and navigated through to commercialisation.

Telling also that gc doesn't mention anything in his update but thankfully highlights the 2 design wins and progress with dmh, dmv, smt and of course shurter.

Much of the old rubbish from kongats and elliott is vanishing with a focus on what will hopefully deliver and the fact that dh and possibly other II's are on board is the only positive I can see that this lot will actually deliver.

We can see the bookings and backlog should result in a decent h1 result and h2 needs one of these breakthrough products to take-off schurter have their eye on smt so we'll see.

This further reinforces what I believe is the importance of smt/binder and why you now see a large part of any information/presentation given to it and this is what dh is investing so much for. Getting this to market early next year could be the making of cap-xx.

VR nearly all the jam pots have turned mouldy but one or two remain on the shelf with a nice shiny appearance and sweet smell. Let's hope they don't also turn sour!

Chav don't know if you know the history here with smt but they've been trying to get it working for well over a decade describing it as the 'holy grail' in their first attempt that disappeared into the ether. That's why parkez and others has been enthused about the possibility of this soon coming to market.
