It is possible nidal yavuz/ general manager was drafted in to help with these operational issues, and given his familiarity with smith detection machines. It is not clear whether these operational issues have been resolved and whether the involvement of multiple companies is compounding the problem

We have crossed wires. Nick is trusted by the DTI and GRA- he is training customs in the new system designed to prevent leakage of revenue

He is in a JV with a foreign company and his contract has been legally challenged and suspended for 9 months whilst it is reviewed for value for money. He has seen off TCnet and blue line- previous incumbents who still gave 3 and 1 year left on their gov contracts

Remember MPS are the provider but gpha/gov are the commissioner. I agree that nick has too much of a monopoly- I disagree with attempts to smear- do you regard him less honest than fowler?

Nick is/has legally challenged the abrogation of his scan contract by MPS.

You know v well that nick has a contract lasting until 2025 covering scan inspection at all ports of entry paid on a fixed fee monthly basis. He provides the scans in T2, Takoradi, the airports, etc
