Been topping up this am. This may well get taken out before it gets to successful. Big pharma wants cutting edge gene med successes before they become the competition.Whats not to like?

I sold all my shares ( bought in market and through placing) for 2.10 and 2.05. I expect this to fall again on Monday. Will buy back in at 1.5 and below.

Jacobjohn - not sure what you mean - the record date is 6 pm on 20/5/24 so no new holders/ buyers since the announcement of placing are eligible to apply. Placing shares are purely for existing holders ( before Tuesday)

Offshore Malaysia really hitting up with Petronas third hydrocarbon discovery just announced. This time in deep water 5000+ deeper than lbe block ( kertang 1000+) Not an overstatement to say this region offshore Malaysia is prolific in terms of discoveries. Lbe may actually be in right place at right time with this licence.

Hard not to see this as a prelude to some significant deals/partnerships/strategic moves. Looks like getting the structure in place for some big deals so they can streamline and focus the management of each division?

Zen - re your post yesterday about the lack of progress in Niger, I can see why the company changed strategy and decided to wait for the pipeline instead of trucking 1 or 2 k day by road. However, I think we will see progress now and fully expect a plan t b announced at the next strategy update ( along with approval of SS!! here's hoping!)

Agree. Shareholders have been stitched up royally. Rox wants all. Wouldn't surprise me if they were scooping up all the existing outstanding shares they can grab at 3p with the share price deliberately sabotaged by the announcement to delist in conjunction with the fundraising.

Rox with probably have 75%of the company anyway,(with a few more monthly cash loans and the big placing). They can do what they want. Any existing shareholders will be obliterated. There are ways and means..further dilution etc.

Only consolation is that the directors will probably be obliterated too as Rox will take everything imo.

The puzzle for me is why the principle owners of the company are ceeding control and effectively selling the majority of the company( the exact proportion of the their ownership is increasing with every monthly fundraising as well as the big placing) for such a pittance. Rox is effectively taking ownership for 10m ( approx 100m shares at 10p ( and more besides if they are picking up millions at 3p ish after the company announced a delisting at the same time as a fundraising??????? and thereby trashed the sp ????????

I sold the majority of my shares on the rns that almost hid the delisting intention bombshell. However I agree, there is an extensive window of vulnerability before Rox gets any control. The secretary of state may not be minded to agree a waiver so the big fundraise may need another general meeting ( that should be interesting)!

Yes, but if the price is higher and high enough directors are duty bound to act in the best interests of shareholders and recommend a bid especially if the alternative is just another fundraising round??
