Good news without a doubt. Company's working cash needs are sorted til end 24 leaving them free to complete existing design contracts and convert to production where and when revenue will grow exponentially. Also free to win new contracts as they are doing.

Tintook still deramping.The past week he has been saying lack of working cash means crisis. Now that is sorted he says very serious situation for some vague unspecified reason lol.

It would be quite funny after all tintook has been scaring people with over the past few days, if the company announced it has got a bank loan or finance package ( off the back of the numerous multi million pound contracts it has already won and continues to win). Or if it announces the new contract with Neuralink is confirmed?

The shares you refer to on the RNs have already been sold. Such holdings RNSs are only issued after the event.As for how the working cash requirements will be addressed, noone on here knows. I would be surprised to see a big placing like you suggest as the company under the CEO is very resourceful and adaptable and has said before that there are many options open to them to raise short term working cash including loans , advances from customers((in negotiation) and other financing options.

404 - yes we know there are short term working cash issues but that is why this quality company in such a high growth sector ( producing high tech " ultra complex chips") is current valued at only 10m ish!!!!!

Both the existing and new customers demonstrating a ringing endorsement of the company's reliability and quality in giving it's customers what they want.

Company has little or no bank debt since they paid it off at the IPO 18 months ago. I agree extremely positive news.

We are still yet to hear about the new contract negotiations re Neuralink which have been hinted at??? Very positive times for the company.

Fair enough MC1777. I think the recent news has brought the company to the attention of a wider range of investors who see the potential here.The company has short term working cash issues which is partly due to the company's revenue model which is based on revenues building over time as more chips go into production and IP gets licensed ( like Arm).

Also it is not many companies who list Apple, Tesla and Neuralink ( as well as many other big global names) amongst their clients. And solve high tech problems that other competitors cannot do. It is possible the sp may fall back from this level and you may be able to get in cheaper but given all of the above it may not.

There is also the risk that it may not do a placing ( as there are clues and hints that this is not managements preferred option). I guess it all depends upon your risk profile. I have bought back in after the last rise but have kept some powder dry to buy in cheaper in case.

Yes, I was thinking along those lines. Perhaps a combination of strategic investment and financing/ bank loans and maybe a small placing. Alternatively, a rights issue which would maintain percentage holdings on perhaps a 2 for 1 basis???

I always expected a larger player would take out the company and even more so now.

100 million even 200m is peanuts/ loose change down the back of the sofa to a large US tech giant. Quality leading edge companies like SND are extremely scarce to come by. Probably less than a dozen globally working to such a specialized market ( 5 and 3 nano level).

Would make a strategic and highly competitive advantage for a tech company to have its own ASIC chip design and supply within the group.

Roxi - I was thinking that over the past week or so.

The company produces chips for Tesla ( and has done for some time) but maybe the fact that the company solved a problem on a Neuralink chip which other ASIC suppliers could not solve ( according to media reports?) brought us even more to the attention of the boss Elon ?? and he has taken a bit more of interest in us.??

I know one thing American semiconductor investors must be looking at Sondrel and wondering why the UK market values such a high quality, high spec, leading edge tech company so cheaply!

Just look at Nvidia and even the small US chip companies valuations at the moment! And of course with the move to make the supply of chips more secure and away from Taiwan!!

It is interesting that there is so much interest around the Neuralink project when snd has already previously designed and produced chips for Tesla. Unless it is the fact that according to reports snd was able to solve a design problem that other suppliers were not able to.

Don't worry our time will come. When they announce that they have obtained a solution to the working capital requirement the sp will probably double or more on the news as this sector and this niche market within the industry is the future.

AI, robotics, autonomous vehicles , networking, cloud, edge and virtual reality all these and more are what our chips are needed for i.e. the high tech, high growth, cutting edge leading industries of the future. There are unbelievably few players globally able to provide the complex ( billions of transistors ), high spec, high performance chips that we do. I only hope we get a chance to grow and develop before we are snapped up by a US tech giant eager to secure their chips supplier away from Taiwan. Watch this space!

Tintook - agree if they sort out the short term working cash concerns the future looks very bright. I would not be surprised to see the sp return back to the 55p level in short order.

Earl - if they do a small placing at say 10p it may not actually return to the 10 p level as the concern about working cash levels have been addressed. In fact it may jump upwards when the news is released.

That's if they even do a placing. They may get funding another way, advances and or loans etc. Think the news about Elon has bought the company to the attention of many more investors who realise the potential and want in.
